Why not make it so if you stay in one spot the boss will patrol near you. This dumb mechanic completely takes out a scary action from this mode... hiding.
@@botondzoltannagy8849 except it's in place because you're not supposed to be hiding! You need to be collecting whatever objective the map has, if the boss spawned by you then that's the only time you should hide which is why it's usually going to be just a minute before your automatically caught, a minute should be plenty of time for the boss to despawn so you can move again, if more than one end up spawning on you then that's not exactly the mechanic's fault at that point that's just RNG fucking you over.
The problem with that mechanic is that it always forces you to move out of your hiding spot, which is dangerous especially when you're hiding from a boss that's literally near you. i remember once hiding behind a crate with a demoman while there was the boss right outside the hidingg spot and then it forces us to move our asses even tho the boss is standing right there.

(otherwise I will have extremely deadly consequences.......) when soldier got out alive and saw sniper and his clone: well... that was a little too much for today...but atleast we got out alive! Soldier clone: well we can rest assured that we have escaped that evil, scary looking beast. I mean... I don't know if we even did escape..

If you don't want players to camp and infinitely hiding from monsters, then just add a simple mechanic. They spawn near player after any signal(visual, or sound) and after some seconds begin to chase player, who is hiding the most. This is much better, than just showing red letters text "If ya not move ur ass, you will be "Gotcha bitch" by the boss"
