Dude a one point I had more than 12 g1 starscreams in my collection. I had 2 g1 originals one sealed and one on display. 2 g2 starscreams.I had 3 takara reissue one in the standard box 2 in the white book style box. 2 u.s. reissue one open one sealed. 2 ghosts and one black . You get the point lol. I sold the extra one off awhile ago.
My favorite Transformer of all time! I know everyone raves over Optimus and Megatron, but Starscream is the one that does it for me!
Starscream is one of my favorites! Voice actor Christopher Collins help bring him to life. He is definitely an A list transformers character.
80s Transformers Fan! SUPER REVIEW!
The biggest difference for me is that I can pick up my hasbro starscream by the wings in robot mode and shake the ever living snot out of it and the waist won't come apart. On every previous version of the mold, they would come apart either just picking it up, or after one small shake. Things even want to come undone just rotating the arms on previous ones.
My hasbro starscream is a freaking rock in robot mode. That makes it 100x the quality of any previous release in my book.

Not a bad Hasbro G1 toy-accurate Starscream, but his eyes are not yellow and his Decepticon logos are not downside up.

I've only found Starscream once and I've been looking for more in stores. My friend found 5 at one time and sold them to guys at my job.
I was fortunate enough to get the TRU Exclusive and now that I have Starscrean I am sad I sold my TRU Thundercracker. I hope they re-issue Thundercracker and we need a Skywarp with the new mold. Great review. LOVE the Starscream voice. You nailed it!

had the Takara and it had a wobly waist, my Hasbro has overall better QC. I kept the Hasbro and the Coronation set and sold the Takara. All said and done, i'm out $100... $50 for the Hasbro and $50 for the loss on the Takara I sold without the coronation set.
Crimson wings Starscream is a way better Masterpiece and is more Cartoon Accurate more expensive and out of Stock almost everywhere. It's just so unreal 😫
Crimson Wing should be better. This version of Starscream ,his body is almost 20 years old! And as far as cartoon accessories, this Starscream is a toy and cartoon hybrid. Where as the newer versions that the Crimson Wing is a Knock-off of is fully l cartoon accurate.

Starscream is 2nd in command on Earth while Shockwave is 2nd in command on Cybertron.
Yes I guess you could say that but when all the deceptions are in one place at the same time Shockwave is second in command.

I was never a fan of the comics but was pleasantly surprised at how Shockwave's character was developed. Very cool indeed. I've pre ordered MP 28/Shockwave. Looking forward to him.
I can't wait to find Starscream at my local TRU. I've been checking every other day with no success. I own the original MP 3/Starscream aka Greenscream (Haha) but have always wanted a G1 accurate Screamer to display. I have a few other MP's to get, TRU Starscream will allow me to budget accordingly but hands down, King Starscream is the way to go.

The takara version is superior imo
The one thing that bugs me the most on the hasbro version is the hands blue paint doesnt match the forearms...for some reason the forearms are a bit darker than the hands...
Otherwise i prefer the color tone on the takara, i also prefer the darker orange for the dome, i dont really like the blue nose cone on the hasbro and finally one little details that takara has over hasbro is the green and red lights on the wings, while hasbro have them both green, which is not accurate to real life planes
But sadly takara is much more expensive, but its still worth it imo
I prefer the Takara version also but for the $150 + price difference I'd recommend the Hasbro version .If I had known we were getting MP Starscream in the U.S. I would have not purchase the Takara one because of the price difference. I just found out we're getting MP Skywarp & MP Sideswipe in 2016

you must of had starscream fever or something that was a lot of them. I just need one and done. must have spent a lot of money in the long run

I say no, but a lot or collectors are doing it.I tried it on my display shelf and it wasn't so bad but in my mind I know it not G1.

I'm having the same issue with getting the torso to go down in robot mode. It feels like something is blocking it, but I can't find anything.
Haseo It happens to me all the time just back up the transformation and make sure all the panels and parts are clear of the slot . Then it should be fine.

I agree...i prefer every takara's versions over hasbro's, but sadly they are much more expensive

Definitely prefer the takara version. The hasbro version looks a bit cheaper in materials. Agree that the takara version is WAY overpriced, though. Even worse with the SW and upcoming thundercracker
