This is without exaggeration the perfect anime. Not too long, not too short, well established universe, perfect balance between comedy, mystery, action, and drama. Cool characters, satisfying arcs, cool fights, gripping story. It is the perfect shonen anime.
Guys i want to ask a question. I have seen this in most of animes that AUDIENCE finds girls beating boys as funny and cute and praise the girl. I KNOW THOSE ARE JOKES, I laugh on them too. But would you guys still find this beating funny If genders are reversed.??? Because i have seen that then many people start hating the boy for abuse and violence towards a girl and did not take it as a joke. I just cannot understand this double standards of some people. Feel free to correct me and sorry if i hurted you....

Now, granted, this is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which came out in 2009. So it's possible, but unlikely to be a reference to Gurren Lagann.
The protagonist isn't the strongest or the smartest nor does he have a big dream. He just wants to be happy. And yet it is One of the best animes of all time.
Maybe I waited too long to finish this and I’m too damn old for this now, but as good as this show has been, it is definitely not something I can comfortably call “the best” or “the perfect” or even “my favorite”. It was a great anime that I shall recall with fondness and don’t regret watching one bit, but that’s about it.
