This is so helpful! Love this video. I was curious, what do you use for screen sharing for you videos? All your tutorials are so high quality and very helpful. Thanks!
Bro, can’t tell you how much I enjoy your channel. Clear, crisp & concise every time. You’ve turned me on to so much, way beyond ANYONE on YT. The amount of times I have a video over & over again is a true sign of how good you are. Props to ya. #BigBoutYa 👊🏾
Can you ask the guys at SSL to create a version of this plugin where all the modules are in the same plugin with a real Fusion gui? When I create a chain that replicates the signal follow of the Fusion, it’s taking 5 plugin slots on my master buss in Pro Tools leaving only 5 slots for other processors. Having them separate is a nice touch but having an actual all in one Fusion plugin that functions the exact same as the hardware would be so convenient. Thanks.
These SSL plugins are still quite relevant. I've got the SSL/Slate Complete, and one thing I've noticed is they're fairly light on CPU and low latency, and sounds like the analog mixers they're based on.
Having the hardware for comparison and hand on experience to the "sound" helps a lot. BTW I am listening through PC Sub/speakers and the mix sounds awesome, these speakers are 1-3khz sensitive, if there is too much it grabs your eyes. And the stereo image was noticeable with a extra out of the speaker spread.
HI man !!! I watched a tutorial from a LA producer Who actually use your presets and he said in the tutorial... Literally... `` I´m use the presets from this guy sean divine, cause are actually very good presets´´ Me: What da Faq !!! I know this guy !!!!! jajajajajaja 4 real man !!! Awesome !!!
Hi Sean! I was hoping you put out a video like this with the new fusion plugins. I’m so glad that you did. Also, I was really enjoying that song you’re mastering. Are your songs available anywhere to listen to? Thanks either way!
Hello Sean divine plz can you tell me how you did that vibrating effect by 2:23 in your song plz by the way I like the songs and thanks for you videos 🙌🏾🙏🏾
Hey man i was thinking of adding this to the my arsenal... ive currently got just an interface, compressor and preamp. Would this give it that "final step" to complete it for an all round home studio youd say?
My setup is Apollo 8 into ssl six, cue 1 goes to fusion hardware for parallel or bus processing then M/S circuit hits elysia nvelope back into fusion then out into ext input on ssl six so as to hit the g bus comp at the end to glue it all as well as make it sound massive and punchy, then back into Apollo 8, I call it "lil' 4000" :)
@@SeanDivineSure broski here is my thoughts and feels: The nvelope is wonderful, very useful for our style, its like taking that envelope function that synths have where you can adjust the time of the attack and how long the signal sustains, it also sounds very transparent, when you put that on the M/S-S Insert of the fusion its like adding an envelope/eq/compressor that can affect the Stereo, Mid and Side, and you can position it pre eq or post trans, I get some pretty gritty distortion shaping with it. I want to make a video demonstration cause it's pretty fun I haven't seen this setup before, I can pick what I want to punch or what I want to smooth out inside of the fusion. (The fusion is the ultimate mixing and mastering gateway drug.)
@@CraigScottFrost i’ve tried it on access analog last february it sounded great i j thought the plugins might be better since i can use them any time. but thanks for telling me it doesn’t sound the same before i bought it i appreciate it!
Love your music there Sean! Great job man, and you giving glory and the honor where it belongs, Yeshua! Nice work and keep it up man, I believe that Jesus is already blessing you indeed
@@SeanDivine Awesome Sean. Three syllables I must utter as to why I asked; soundclick days 🔥. The inception of it at least when us rappers and you producers started off the hustle. Keep grinding bro. @@SeanDivine Awesome news bro. I also see that you don't offer exclusive rights to your beats but rather leasing. Is this a permanent thing? I am also against leasing to a degree.

Appreciate that! The WAV files aren't out there at this point... some services like Tidal offer lossless or FLAC versions which are pretty much exactly like the WAVs delivered.
@@SeanDivine Yeah, I was apple to listen to the lossless on AppleMusic but you can’t actually download the files. If you sell the album on Bandcamp they allow lossless downloads.

Sean, I was watching mystic river last night and noticed the Detective played by Kevin Bacon is named Sean Divine. Coincidence, or is that who you based your 'stage' name off of? Just curious, thanks for the videos!
If it sounds good then who cares. Paul Third is an overthinker by nature. I generally like the plugins on my master bus to be as clean as possible and do all my added harmonics in my channels and busses. I find the SSL native plugins great for that clean sound. I wouldn't write SSL plugins off because of Paul. He loves AA plugins but they are basically unusable with the CPU power they use. Aliasing isn't always a problem, tho sometimes it is 🤷🏾♂️
@@NoQualmsTheArtist It's snake oil though when it doesn't do what they claim it emulates on the hardware. I know it's not gonna be exactly the same so don't call it Fusion. And the way their employee responded to being called out on it publicly was pretty off-putting. I really like the Plugin Alliance stuff, seemingly the most accurate emulations of the E, G, J consoles for $30 each and the bx Townhouse bus compressor $20 right now.
@@_thevaporz yep the bx stuff is really good. Watch out using the townhouse on your master bus if you make bass heavy music as it has a roll off starting at about 50hz, even tho I love the sound of it. The SSL native bus compressor doesn't have this roll off it also has x4 oversampling and a nice sheen that no other SSL bus comp has, I also like the ik multimedia bus comp with the grit button engaged for a dirtier sound. The SSL native channel strip with the E button engaged has the silkiest top end that I've ever heard in a plugin, but I prefer my console 1 SSL 9000K for everything else, but the filters where I prefer the console 1 SSL4000. Each has a place and something that it does particularly well.
@@NoQualmsTheArtist Thanks for the tip. I might pick up SSL native cs/bc combo if it goes on sale again in Feb for $50. Otherwise I'm saving for a used Six or maybe the Big Six for summing with MPC Live2. And a Zulu, Blooper and CXM 1978 but those are dreams.
@@_thevaporz we all have those dreams! One day I would love a pair of Quested V2108 monitors, but for $8000 I'll probably upgrade my car first 🤣 I bought the SSL bundle on sale, actually I've never paid full price for any plugin I put the ones I want in a list and wait till they are on sale.

SSL should just make a Fusion plugin as well as these modules. Like Ozone advanced. Would definitely buy that.
I agree - a modular "rack" utility for the plugins would be a great addition. Who knows, maybe it will happen :)
if they do, I'll defo buy it even if I own the hardware Fusion and some of their SSL Native plugins.
