For those who didn't notice, the song "Nightcall" by Kavinsky is exactly the same intro. I once overlapped BLT and Nightcall, adjusted the speed and timing and it fitted perfectly. But I did with NO version. This one here is even closer. Btw, I lived this era, danced in clubs when this music was new and since then is my favorite song in the world. I have every version of NO songs and JD. Went to 2 concerts of New Order, took a self with Peter in one and with Stephen in the other. I am very critical about cover versions of my favorite music and... I loved this one here!

This brought me right back to being an edgy misanthropic teen listening to new wave records in my basement in the best way possible. Always found the lyrics hauntingly beautiful and that distinctive Miku warble just adds to that effect!
good job buckaroo, now I find the lyrics hauntingly beautiful, and since I'm an artist, that increases to tenfold, cause now I'm imagining a semi romcom manga set in a techno dystopia, about a scavenger boy, his tomboy childhood friend from long ago, and a new girl from the cities, attending a highschool near the urban region, the boy is confused on which he truly loves, and the 2 girls fight over him silently, through acts of courtship.
I imagined the panels would be rich with details and beautiful scenery, and you see I like my heartstrings being pulled, and I also like watching shippers cry. And if you ask why it's set in a futuristic techno dystopia? Cause I'm listening to a synthwave remix of this song with Miku staring at me.
And since I like torturing my fans
I'm going to make 3 fake endings that are really tragic, and reveal them to be a dream of each students.

i’ve had this on loop while driving to work ever since you dropped this so i feel like i should thank you for it? the original might’ve changed your life but this cover changed mine, just a little.
i sincerely prefer this to the original mixes, something about the electronic quality of miku’s voice (WOW you tuned her well) adds a sense of digital melancholy to this track that i think suits it really well. it brings it into the modern era, somehow.
anyway, amazing work as always, your remixes are consistently the best on youtube but these covers really go the extra mile.
