That was a great tutorial! I've already emailed a friend to have her watch it. She's new to sewing and needs to widen the sleeve across the bicep. Your method would be easier than the one I showed her.
It’s a patternmaster. I got mine from Fred Aldous which is a cheapo one. The original trademarked patternmaster is around £30 I think. Hope that helps! www.fredaldous.co.uk/products/pattern-maker-metric
Ah I wish I could help! Going the other way will always be trickier unfortunately. If you’re able to, I’d suggest finding tutorials on how to draft a sleeve from scratch using the armscye from the bodice. That’ll give you the most control over how the final sleeve looks!
This vid DESERVES ALOT MORE LIKES AND ATTENTION! The simplistic directions of the execution of these techniques is F ING AWESOME!
Aww thanks friend!!! ☺️

Thank you! It’s a really quick method to give that extra bit of ease as long as you don’t mind how it changes the shape and style of the sleeve!
Great vid, i would love to see more of this kind of vids!
Thank you! I’ll definitely try to do similar ones in future! ☺️
Very nice tutorial I love the puff sleeve.
Thanks! Me too! ☺️
I like that ruler you're using with one straight edge and one curved - could you share what it's called or where it's from?
