There were still so many sweet and fun things that time which we now don't have😢. I have lots of sweet video game memories including with this one. It was a very hard game and it took me a loooooong time to finally complete the game. And I can remember clearly that I am the only person in my whole family and friends circle who finished the game. I was stuck in the 3rd stage boss for a long time. This whole game was very hard.

I can't even remember how old I was when I played with this game, maybe around 6 or 7 and the fact that I'm revisiting this game after 12 years just really filled me up with nostalgia. I hated that titan level so much, it took me so many attempts until I finally finished it. It was the hardest level for me in the game. I never knew that you can beat that bull boss at 23:44 with just using the ground stomp, I always went all the way to the right to pick up a stone block to throw on him. My favorite levels in this game was the Centaur's forest, the Hydra boss fight and the first level. Funny thing to mention is that when I played this game for the very first time I didn't even know about that super punch which charges up, so I ended up swinging the sword against those breakable obstacle I was so frustrated when I found out that you can destroy those with only one hit with the super punch.

It is a very well made game. The fact that the graphics are 100% similar to how it looks in movies makes it so brilliant. It is as if you are in a movie.

First ever action game and among my first 3 games I ever played getting in the gaming world, windows xp, hercules, delta force and purple place. I will cherish these forever.
I remember playing this on old xp pc. I tried to take every coin kill every bad guy and not die even once. My friends played it too but I was the first to beat Hades. I was damn proud of it.
I didn't have a manual, the game felt so cryptic as a kid. It took me weeks to figure out I can lift the boulder at 6:20 - probably because game designers didn't do anything to show it isn't just another platform.
I know we're all nostalgic about this game, but it's seriously a really solid side-scroller. Great graphics too, nailing the cartoon style of the movie and combining it with 3D elements pretty much seamlessly. Also, that they had the guts to make it as challenging as it is, and managed to vary the gameplay to this extent, it goes to show some serious heart and soul went into this game. And I don't know about you guys but there's just something about actually good movie tie-in games that tickles me. I think it's because it's so easy to just slap some popular IP on top of a mediocre product and make a quick buck, that when there's actually a decent product, it makes it all the better.
