@Kim Smith I'm also an enthusiastic amateur organist. I've loved the organ since 1988. I had even, for a few months, aspired to become a professional. What busted my PIPE DREAMS of becoming a professional organist was finding out that professional musicians are not allowed to be picky about the repertoire. I'm not keen on the idea of directing a choir either. So I am just an *enthusiastic amateur.*
@Kim Smith P.S. congratulations on playing the organ. My favorite tune, *the hymn tune FOREST GREEN,* is easy to learn. Let me know if you ever play it. I love it very much; it's the best melody ever composed.

On sent une certaine lassitude dans le jeu : les notes répétées sont un peu assénées; pas de changement de clavier au centre ? Fugue de sortie d'office quand personne n'écoute vraiment....
You're hearing the results of a different tuning system and different tuning pitch. This organ is pitched about a step higher than today's standard A440.

The organ was made to play somethimg religious, which bach was not always doing.
@@someonelol3404 The organ was considered acceptable for secular music well before it was considered acceptable for sacred music.
I only wish that pipes themselves had a higher pitch for the manuals, and the pedal slightly deeper in tone. But this is perfect!!
