- Welcome to a new VoxChats interview! This time we'll be spending 15mins with Aussie metal band Thornhill! Formed in Melbourne in 2015 Thornhill members consist of Jacob Charlton (Vocals), Ethan McCann (Guitar), Nick Sjogren (Bass) and Ben Maida (Drums). Join me in chatting to the guys about playing on home ground, vocals, their writing process and favourite parts of touring.

Thornhill has a really unique style they've developed over the years, loved their latest release, felt like they've really hit their stride!
Saw them last year for the first time at Good things and the Archiects tour in Brisbane. Absolutely blown away with how well this band sounds. Jacobs vocals are also out of this world. Incredible band 🔥

I've photographed these guys over many years that they've been they definitely have grown as a band over the years. Seeing them as the young band, they were to who they are today. I feel proud to have been able to witness them go from small venues near me to playing festivals and playing internationally. They truly are a band to keep an eye on to see how far they go.

No seriously you did great. Good questions, worked with the answers and it felt like passionate musicians have just a nice chat.
Maybe the guys (every interviewed artist) have been more nervous to speak to such a beauty, then you have been to talk to them. 😅
these seem like pretty chill guys. everyone wanting to swap with the drummer was a shocker for me lol. usually it's the singer or guitarist
