- She's covered tragedies, trials, I-Team investigations, elections and more. She even made an appearance on Late Night with Stephen Colbert! Christina Hager is leaving WBZ-TV after 25 years as a reporter.
She will be missed.
Sad to see the old guard leave across the local affiliates. Growing up hearing certain voices and getting nostalgic.
So sad to see her go. One of the best to ever report for WBZ. Good luck to her!
After a lifetime in the Boston area, I moved to Florida and am eternally missing intelligent newscasting. Good Luck Christina!

It’s weird, just the other day I was thinking how her and Beth Germano are two of the only reporters on that station with any tenure anymore. I wish her all the best, she did a great job. Sort of sad to see the downward trajectory of the station in the past handful of years.
