  • Get to know Hannah, one of our 2022 Advocacy Fellows! Last year, she joined us for 3 months in the US, sharing her story with audiences across the country. But how did she get to this point, where she can confidently and boldly advocate for herself and this issue?
Hannah escaped North Korea in 2015 and lived in China before resettling in South Korea in 2017. She hopes to make known the human rights abuses occurring in North Korea and China, and create a world where her daughter can grow up safely and freely pursue her dreams. She's currently a 2nd year at Kookmin University, studying Chinese Language and Literature.
