Such a great and influential band,and still going on doing what they know and love.When you stop and think about it,most people do not have the same band for 5 to 7 years.Most people don't stay with the same girlfriend or have a marriage last 5 to 7 years.That is because in 5 to 7 years,you learn what someone is like deep down inside,and you will love them or hate them by then He He.This is how I see it over my 60 years anyway.Great Band!
U know I’m not a beach boys fan Listen to their version for like five seconds. But I love this version it’s my favorite song at the moment I listen to it via RUclips on my phone, but I have a Bose Bluetooth speaker I listen to it on On just my phone I can’t hear the bass But when I listen on my Bluetooth speaker I hear it I luv the drums and bass and I play guitar I finger pick a lot but this song especially this version is so good on many levels
Wow, really sublime, beautifully minimal version. Always admired the Puppets for not being too cool to admit that they listened to and appreciated a lot of music that was often considered "uncool" by 80's hipsters, including ABBA, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, and Beach Boys.
Nice to hear the Beach Boys arrangement of the chords on guitar instead of keyboard.A really well controlled performance with superb support from bass and drums.Enjoyed it and the transition to the next track was subtle. Pity that wasn't included here.
I’m not a big beach boys fan, either I know the meat puppets from nirvana But when I first heard this, mentally it seemed like a joke. Like I was thinking should I like this Now it’s my favorite song. There’s so much to like about this
Silent Jellybean the Bing Lounge was a small space, less than 80 people, that the local radio station used. Whoever was playing in town, Portland Oregon, would come by put on a free mini 4-5 song set for exposure, advertising the show that night. Great for fans, especially the meet and greet afterwards.
Saw them playing this in 2010 opening for Soundgarden at the gorge. That was a great day, friends.
Lovely bass.

You will either love it or hate it. But the aging boys of Too High To Die nailed this one in my humble opinion.

@DoWorkWithThese That show was amazing
Meat puppets / Kurt Cobain ... what else to say ?? Their album too high too die was just perfetct ! And they still are great musicians
The only thing I can say is how good Meat Puppets are. There are so many "best album"s by Meat Puppets. I have 4 or 5 'best' albums of them.
❤👏🌄
Me quedé esperando que arranque la bateria y el bajo y nunca pasó jajajs. Anyway me gusto mucho 😁
