This is the angriest I've seen Alex on one these yet. It's wild.

Alex always gives excellent quotable commentary. "This movie is the child I never wanted" is my new favorite. And yes, the best part of this movie is the end sequence with all of the skeletal deaths. Love this franchise, not into this movie

You are telling me... that throughout your entire life you have NEVER heard someone use this line before? I mean sorry maybe because I grew up in a dysfunctional abusive family maybe I heard and saw more than others. But I just assumed everyone over 20 had heard this phrase said at least once in some variance.

I like the Final Destination 3D. I feel the sympathy for this sequel. ❤❤

The one good thing about the film is the opening credits recounting some of the previous cool kills

I really liked them when they first came out. I tried rewatching them last year and while I still like the first one, the rest sort of went off a cliff.

That was such well thought out commentary and I agree! I'd like to add that the whole sequence with the main (I forget his name) character in the mall was terrible. I was bored, and I don't bore easily. Like, okay, so we're in the "under construction" part of the mall and why is this taking so long???

I saw the first one or two and gave up on that series. It really just seemed to be an exploration of death and dismemberment. How many ways can we take apart the anatomy?

As lame as this flick is, I must give Final Destination credit for being one of the most consistent franchises in all of Horror. I NEED Consistency, so hear me out!
Freddy isnt always Freddy, Voorhees isn't always Voorhees, Myers is hardly ever Myers, but Leprechaun is! Put the Leprechaun in a farm house in North Dakota, LA, Las Vegas, the Hood, back to tha Hood, even in freakin Space, and Leprechaun is always just consistently Leprechaun. What is Death in Final Destination? Consistent!
I have a soft spot for our more sympathetic Slasher Villains, so I need my growing boy Jason to get his revenge, or the grief of a Pumpkinhead to justify his hatred and vengance, or the lost, stolen love and Artistry of Candyman 🐝 to justify his means. The Blob isn't sympathetic but it also isn't evil. Hard to hate a sentient Blob of carnivorous acid just for existing, and it's basically impossible to hate Death itself! Final Destination isn't about finally defeating evil, it's just about surviving Death itself.
My gripe with the franchise is that they kinda tried to leave open a space for Death's "design", in the 1st entry, but never followed up on it, but part 4 tried! One character tries to hang himself but apparently Death itself won't allow him to? He can't die. He's basically become an immortal!... until a few hours later when Death itself decides now he dies and hits him with an Ambulance. Why, Final Destination 4? Why? 🤷‍♂️ why leave that space and then just bowl it over with an Ambulance? Inconsistent!
Having said all of that, Final Destination is still on of the best Horror franchise out there, can't help but to love it, even this cheesy, contemptuous edition. Overall, regardless of that pointless immortal for a few hours phenomenon, Final Destination is still one of the most consistent Horror franchises we'll ever get.
What should you review next? Why, Leprechaun, or course. I'd stick with the 1st 6 entries, of which I'm betting Back to tha Hood is the lowest rated 💰🍀
Thank you for this video, and your take on this flick, Gilf! 👩‍🦳

I thought Final Destination 5 (and it’s awesome curtain call montage) was a wonderful apology for this lackluster and disappointing failure.

I would call the music from that movie more like crappy heavy metal, or terrible grunge. But definately not emo to any degree. In fact, neither is most of the bands people commonly think of as 'emo'
So like mainstream, fall out boy, panic, or all time low are not really emo. Think back more to bands from the very late 90s or very early 2000s that all mostly started with 'the'

Oh lord! This is such a terrible film and a blatant schlock cash grab that looks like someone shot it with an amateur crew over a boring weekend. Awful, flat, bland characters going through the tired motions of the formula with nothing but the cheesy 3D gags to inject any imagination into!
