Damn the pals at the very end of the Paldeck look pretty badass, I love me some dark type of draconic-looking things that can blow stuff up and light things on fire for me, the perfect pal for my team, a pal that can cause absolute havoc and destruction.
Corviknight regional form is awesome
I really love their brilliant names such as Daedream, Lifmunk, Lamball and especially Depresso whom a lot of people claim that’s literally them and to make it even better he needs his Expresso with all the caffine!
none of these are brilliant at all if I'm being honest or maybe I've just been spoiled by pokemon

@@dieselboy.7637 there is no plagiarism at all. Yeah maybe "some" pals look similar to pokemons. But the concept is way off from pokemon except the whole monster catching Genre. The Pokemon company themselves have told that they cant stop another company making a monster catching and training game. The only thing that would be a problem is if they completely ripped off and copied any original pokemons.
Talking about Plagiarism, Pokemon Ripped off quite a few Characters from Dragon Quest, and in fact Pokemon was made based on Dragon quest, they are literally copy pasted.
Nintendo has no problem, they know what they are doing. If in anyway Palworld devs ripped off pokemon, they would be on their necks just 24hrs after release. But they did not!
They were able to shut down a whole pokemon Mod in palworld within hours, its no biggy to them.
Its the people of twitter that have a problem. They always have a problem with everything anyone does.
Palworld is a fresh concept to monster training Genre. Pokemon didnt do it first

So for context, my favorite Starter is Snivy, for Servine, and especially Serperior. *Ahem.* Azurobe is a blue Serperios with Sylveon's ribbons, Primarina's hair, and Milotic's "beauty". I has both happy and disappointed, that Serperior got noticed was hype, that good ol' Nintendo has slept on Breaking Swipe Serperior since Gen 7 when you could last get it, even.

They have some really good original designs, but some really are Pokémon rip-offs that everyone can see. It's not just that they share concepts

I agree. There are really cool Pals that are original on their own. But, as for the ones that are obvious... Do you thinks it is some kind of punch for the Pokemon devs (like a joke, a provocation or something else)? If so, I think the Pokemon devs deserve a good punch for the crappy games and designs they made this many years since Sun/Moon.
@@aracelimariacasandramendoz154 I do think it's a bit disingenuous cause we get some really cool artists from Nintendo create hundreds and hundreds of pokemon, so for these guys to come out of nowhere and copy them doesn't really give off good vibes ^^; Its a shame too cause the few original Pal designs do look really cool, I just wish they took up the roster instead of filling the library with knock off pokemon.

@@britishpie7665 I can see your point, there were really well designed Pokemons, mostly from 5th to 6th gen if I'm not wrong. How ever, I'm not in Pokemon's side, nor Palworld. What Palworld did is pretty obvious (it's something like some fanarts out there, but there are really awesome Pokemons made by fans). But I was trying to say that Pokemon is being too lazy and getting worst: they threw horrible games lately with poor desinged creatures. Not every Pokemon where bad, but in general. Sorry I put a lot of words here, but I'm trying to analyse and see what are people's impressions >.

Unpopular opinion but these are way cuter and way cooler than 95% of all Pokemon.
I can tell that some designs are based on some Pokémon. Hopefully this game others like it put pressure on the Pokémon Company and Game Freak to make better Pokémon games for the Main Core series.

I see this gibberish complaint all the time, yet not found a single cohesive argument or complaint regarding Pokémon that isn't tantamount to spoiled children thinking a game is bad because it doesn't have everything they want in it.
@@e7eu. I played ultra sun and it was one of worse games. It was hallway simulator with small locations that lead you from place A to place B. They even added pointer so you wouldn t get lost. Ton of useless dialog to read. Not to mention they changed story a lot from sun and moon so Lusamine wasn t so cool anymore. I was never so bored playing pokemon game.
I hope Gamefreak sues them
I can't pick a favorite, I like so many of them. I tend to use Grintail a lot for combat and Vixy is super great for farming. You will never have to make arrows or pal spheres again lol

@@Xhepyxopila They should also try to be more varied in what future Pals are based on, the early access Pals seem to have a lot of foxes, cats, sheep, eagles and flower fairies.

Devs admitted the game was made only to be trendy and that the reason it took so long is because they used incredibly inefficient data storage methods (literally buckets of flash drives) and had to learn how to make games in Unreal Engine on the fly. With a budget of only $10,000 though, it's still really impressive. Runs better than Scarlet and Violet and costs half as much lol

Honestly when looking at the entire dex, I find that Cremis is the only one that actually looks like an existing Pokemon. Even the one that people compare to Cobalion has a unique body shape.
There's a few others that are pretty close I think, but overall their dex is pretty distinct from the current Pokemon.
I think Blazehowl and Mammorest might be my favorites, also Digtoise

I dont think that would work well, a lot of the early game pals have special things about them, so just making them bigger and stronger by level up is boring
i don't, i think it's better without evolutions, one thing that can happen a lot in pokemon is when you enjoy a pokemon look, but in order to get stronger, you need to evolve it to a form that you may not appreciate it, i prefer stronger pals without the need of appearance change.

I am a Pokémon fan and I have heard about people saying palworld copied Pokémon and I only saw like an tenth of those that look somewhat like Pokémon so I’m stuck who to argue against

Chikipi: I like how it looks like a typical chicken you'd see in an RPG.
Penking: Much cooler-looking than Palafin.

Woolipop: I actually prefer this way over Alcremie.
Ribunny: The only Pal I'd like as an actual Pokémon. Even though its design is half-baked, it has a bunch of stuff I'd like to have in a monster.
Dumud: Alongside Cattiva, this is the only other Pal I dislike. That Sobble fin on its head makes my eye twitch...
Cawgnito: One of the more awesomely-designed Pals.
Robinquill: I actually like it more than Decidueye AND Blaziken combined.
Flambelle: Dead-drop adorable.
Azurobe: I do like its voice.
Cryolinx: Awesome ice-elemental Pal.
Wumpo: Okay, I love Crabominable, but can we PLEASE get a Yeti Pokémon someday?! No, not you either, Abomasnow.
Quivern: Awesome. It's not every day I'm do a double-take on a dragon.
Grizzbolt: One of my favorite Pals; they did a great job with this one.
Lyleen: My favorite humanoid Pal, but still not enough to compel me to buy this game.
Paladius & Necromus: These would make sick Legendaries.
Other Pals I find cool: Teafant, Depresso, Daedream, Mau, Celeray, Mossanda, Reindrix, Lunaris, Sibelyx, Warsect, Jormuntide
Every other Pal unmentioned I don't have an opinion for or they resemble too much on existing Pokémon.
So uhhh fun fact Paladius & Necromus are actually in fact legendaries in game. When caught at (insert spoiler-y location here), they always come with the legend trait, which gives some nice stat buffs on top of marking their status.
5:05 aside from Verdash which looks almost like a carbon copy of Cinderace most of these designs look distinct from any Pokémon.

@@StanisawKolenda-pc9gd I think the Goomy might be a stretch. I think that one looks more closer to a Flan from Final Fantasy or a Slime from Dragon Quest. I kinda see what you mean with the Serperior one, but I think it looks more closer to Orichi from Miitopia. The Cobalian is not even close outside of colors but I will say the Serpent one does kinda look like Mega Gyrados.

I wish someone would make a pals skills video. I mean I’ve seen Neutral, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Ice, Ground, Dark, and Dragon types they should at least elemental attacks not just weapons like Grizzbolt and Jetragon
