@@warpedpolygon i appreciate what you do for retro gaming . I only did what anyone who loves retro would. Helping one another got us where we are now to keep retro alive . Thank you for what you do and nice to hear from you to 😀
respect. many people tried to solve this problems. but either someone keep silence after successfully made it working, or just giving up. I like the way you did. happy to support you onwards. And very expect you can also solve the problem for retroarch lightgun setup too, cos they got mouse index number from window 2 and changing gun id when each boot to windwo. subscribed, I will keep my eyes wide open to you channel.
Thanks for the kind words. There's not much I can do for the indexing issue in RA. It's the RA team that will have to sort that one. I think they should change to the ID based system for RawInput like Flycast. But that is a massive job and may require them to completely overhaul the RawInput system they already have in place. RA input configuration system is also the best out there and I wouldn't want them to change it.
hi,is that anyway to launch lightgun games with ahk file, or bat file. because i use the bigbox build. current setup i use the supermodle and i want t o swap to this build . may you tell me a ahk or bat file to launch lightgun game by using this ponmi build ?
Hi thanks for doing this. Just curious, I can get it all to work with the new UI. I shoot the 2 boxes etc. But my gun aim is way off, bottom right corner as a matter of fact. I grabbed your supermodel ini from the launchbox forums as well and dropped that in the appropriate folder in the Supermodel main dir. Any idea what this could be? Do I actually have to go in the service menu of a game and calibrate there as well? Thank you!! EDIT: LA Machine Guns works fine however. Could it be a hint that for Lost World you also have an NVRAM file called "calibrated for 4:3 resolutions?" And somehow I'm missing a piece of info there? I have a 4K display, but play in 4:3 mode. So I don't go widescreen or stretch the image. Thanks EDIT 2: now aiming in lost world works because in the UI I chose my native resolution of 3840 x 2160. Just one other thing, when I aim straight down the center of the screen, the alignment is perfect but when I move to the left or right, a slight disparity emerges between where I point the gun and where the crosshairs are. Can that be remedied somehow?
Which games are offset with aiming? This could be due to having calibrated these at 1080p. But, I hear changing the DPI scaling can help but I can't confirm as I don't have a 4K monitor.
Hi Warped Polygon this is great can you do these settings for light gun sega model 3 games and is there any chance you can do a tutorial how to make this work with big box, so you don’t have to shoot the UI every time as I would like to have an arcade experience where our scroll through the wheels to select the game that I want, and if it’s a light gun game, as long as my sinden lightgun is plugged in it works or so I don’t have to then use the UI I hope this makes sense Thanks in advance
ruclips.net/video/QnIZmEaBom4/видео.html Here is the video I made to get setup with LB/BB. If you indexing remains stable after initial setup you don't have to use the 'setup shoot me box'. It will change indexing if you reboot your PC or disconnect a lightgun, for some it sometimes changes between games. It's there if you need it.
@@warpedpolygon Thank you I really appreciate it. If I just follow that video it should work without me having to do the other tutorial that you posted today.
@@slugie7934 if you are using lightguns you will need to do what i showed you in this video at least once. Make sure to switch the input back to xinput or dinput after, thats super important.
A great feature without doubt!…BUT my sinden calibration is spot on, but depending on the resolution I pick, P1&P2 aims are to the right of the gun sights….how do I correct? Only tested Lost World. Thanks.
i have my first 2 light guns on the way and currently playing with a controller boy i camt wait! thanks so much for this video!
you are on top of things nice update 👍
Always nice to hear from you! This is partly your doing. Be proud haha
