Misty remember when you said the lady at GW didn't give you your personal space, well I got a worse story! At Savers some lady made fun of me for carrying a doll I bought around! It was a Cricket doll! And she was taunting me, as if we were in 4th grade. I was so mad, but you know, just gotta ignore the haters! However, my cousin and I DID run into a man in the figurines section who also had no concept of personal space and was standing only an inch from us! The things we go through when thrifting! 😄

This is all around our stopping grounds. We live 1.5 miles from Iroquois Park. We have eaten at the Metro Diner and have shopped at one of the Peddlers Malls you were in.

Didn't save all my toys or Barbie's but I saved that. My cushions were purple floral. Can you later share in a video the small Cabbage Patches you found. I love the old 80s toys
We love the South Louisville Antique and Toy Mall. We always come home with something!! We also love hitting the various Peddlers Malls in the area. You just never know what you will find at these places! (and oddly enough, we were also at the Outer Loop Peddlers Mall on Wednesday...didn't find a thing! LOL)
When someone gets that close to me while I am shopping…I immediately look at my purse and clutch it firmly. One time, my mother was in the Supermarket looking at the meat case and a person was right next to her..too close for comfort, but she didn’t suspect anything because she was trying to pick out steaks…..till she got to the cashier..her wallet was gone! I’ve heard of other similar happenings to other people.. so when this happens….and I’ve had two recent instances .. I make it a point to look at my purse and clutch it tighter under my arm. When someone is that close, believe me, they are up to no good.

My husband & I love old toys. The house I grew up In was so small,most of my toys went to younger 2nd cousins. I had a doll trunk stuffed with Golden Books,they went to the lady next door for her grandkids. If only we knew. Best thing I have the teddy bear my Dad bought the day I was born. 71 yrs old !!!

I had a ceramic Santa in my arms one time and this lady asked if I was buying it. I said yes and she kept following me and watching me. I felt so uncomfortable and was deciding whether to put him back. I Decided to buy him. She didn’t buy anything and actually followed me out to the car. Talk about feeling so uncomfortable! Couple days later I took him back cause looking at him made me feel weird. Enjoyed your trip with you and Mark💕

I am not much older then you but you had toys I never knew exsisted. We didn't have a lot of money so all my toys where mishmash of all my four siblings left overs. Also most of our toys were second hand so many pieces were missing. I would play with a old Playschool school house with blackboard with my weebles and army guys. Nothing went together. Good thing I had a vivid imagination. I really like to find a couple weebles. Loved them.

Opryland was a theme park next to the Grand Old Opry in Nashville. I rode my first rollercoaster there, two loops, “The Wabash Cannonball”! lol.
You have to come to Central PA! All kinds of Malls, flea markets, tractor shows. And PA is snow-prepared!😂

I'm jealous that you have other states so close. For me Nevada is 4 hours, Arizona is about 4. Mexico is actually closest at 2.5 hours lol
I live in San Diego. To get anywhere you have to go through LA, (ugh) or cross the desert, (ugh) or go over the border (not happening)!
