Bride of Frankenstein is one of the greatest horror films of all time. Boris Karloff was awesome in reprising his role of the Monster from Frankenstein (he would be just as grand in his final outing as the Monster in Son of Frankenstein [with his rival/colleague Béla Lugosi {Dracula}]). I loved that the Monster spoke in the film. Karloff hated it but I (as well as his daughter) enjoyed it (Whale brought the Monster’s limited speech from Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley’s novel into the film)

Gene hackmn played the blind man villianously well. A take from my fair lady.
