It did, yes. The park will never get is old spirit back as its heart was ripped out when the Pleasure Beach closed it and demolished the Cyclone - which having had a chat with an engineer during this visit, had actually recently had a lot of wood replaced so the official claims that it was rotten and dangerous were false.
Peter Procter I'm sure that the park could get back up if it had a decent investment given to it. I would rather have a permanent funfair than an empty pot of land which could've been made into houses if the park closed 10 years later
Peter Procter I wish I was a lot older when the park was run by Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Although I do remember going to the Funhouse when I was about 7 or 8 years old
Cyclone getting demolished.... disgusting decision. How dare they. I'll never forgive Amanda Thompson and company! pfffft
Did the park have a Moroccan theme back then? I mean the Casablanca building is still at the park

Indeed but it'll never be the same again. No argument regarding investment, I'm all for it but can't offer any!
