    I've watched so so sooo many videos of how to fade and towards the end I had a generally idea of the step by step process. Many people steps are different in their own unique way, but yours made sense to me the most. Some other people had the same steps as you, but they added some other steps using different tools which I didn't have, since I'm just starting out... so.. thank you for this awesome tutorial!

    How are u able to not leave the hair line visible without scissor over comb technique?!

    Had to watch this video, as my low fade turned to mid... 😂...anyways, that .5 step is vicious, and I'm always scared to keep going higher resulting in the guidelines still showing.

      Fuck bro 😂 I’ll do a video where ill make the fading process easier. The .5 guard step is hard af 💀😂

    I don’t have a 1.5 guard what can I substitute for this??

    • @DavidEscamilla153
      @DavidEscamilla153  4 года назад +1

      Tbh brotha I would say buy the 1.5 and .5 it goes a long way. If Youre a beginner it’s gons be reslly hard to do clipper over comb in the area to blend out or to use scissor over comb on yourself

    Just tried this right now and it looks like trash haha. Practice makes perfect though. Should I make my guidelines bigger? I felt like I was confusing my guidelines since they were small

      Just take your time bro and make sure your canvas is clean. I used to rush through my haircuts and get frustrated. It’ll make it a smoother process if your work is clean and guidelines are consistent !

    I have a hard time seeing the guidelines and not knowing if im going past them or not when doing the open/close lever with the different guards

    • @DavidEscamilla153
      @DavidEscamilla153  2 года назад

      Did you modify your clippers?? Make sure they’re sharp enough and have a lever so you can tell the difference. Also pass the machines multiple times when setting guidelines

      @@DavidEscamilla153 I didn't modify my clippers im just a noob bro. i do own .5 and 1.5 guard tho. It's just once i have to use guards 1 and 2 to create guidelines, it becomes hard for me because it doesnt look like it cuts the hair as clean as the zero guard, and I can't really see the guideline of 2 and barely see the guideline of 1. Maybe im not going over the areas enough to cut the hair. I thought 2 - 3 swipes would be enough to shave down the hair

      David Escamilla any tips man. I kinda zero gapped, not completely but it’s a bit close, I make a bald line with it and then use my shaver to bald out under it, I find it hard to knock out the bottom line with the clippers, also before the cut, do I need to use like a 3 or 2 all over the sides to get ready for the fade?

    so what i learned from the comments is that the 2 guard should be closed and its better to start the lever open then closing it for blending
