For the people who got 0 experience try it first in your younger brother or your neighbour kids hair don't go straight to your hair I repeat don't go straight to your hair.... I'm bald
I read this late... Guess what?
😂
Hhhhhhhhhhhh
Hahhahaah
I’m try it tomorrow. First time I cut my own hair I only use 3 on the sides and back
Took me about 2 and a half hours, followed the tutorial step by step it was definitely worth it. Will definitely try again and improve💪
It’s reallt rewarding bro once you start getting the hang of it! Glad I can help 🙏🙏
How long does it take you now?
@@F_Dot_ for me it took 2 hours but now it's like 35 minutes
It used to take me 2-3hrs now it takes me 30ish minutes if I’m rushing and 1hr if I’m taking my time
@@F_Dot_ Just put some tunes on and it goes quick tbh, just make sure you're patient while fading... i f'd myself up the first time and said f'k it and just balded myself lol... nowadays it takes me like 30 to 40 mins for a decent fade.
This is by far the best tutorial. No one tells you how to position your hand, to cut the beard and separate it, where to start…etc…this is the best video ive watched 10 today no lie…the mirror is confusing but you deff helped me understand this better. Thanks man. I really want to figure this out by myself. Not even to save money…i spent 150 on the set up…but to also just to be able to have a clean fade every day and save a hour trip to the barber
Thank you dude . This just helped me so much . Been just winging it on my owe but this video will change everything.
This video helped me a lot, thank you man. I can tell you put a lot of effort in these videos, it’s appreciated 🙏🏻 also the cut looked great
My brother, you are a natural teacher.
One of the most informative, thorough, and clear tutorial videos I’ve ever seen.
Holy Fuck! Atlast, I've been watching theses DN RUclips videos for about a year now walking around with busted hair cuts not being able to get rid of those damn guideline. You explained shit wonderfully and thoroughly. Good looking out.
Awesome vid. I’ve been cutting/fading my wig for almost 15 years and this is probably the best self-cut tutorials I’ve seen so far. Good stuff 👌
Thank and you for watching ! I will be doing more budgeting videos 😈✅
Fading a wig for 15 yrs???
@@annabellee1745 actually, it’s almost 16 years 😆
@@briang8766What do you mean “a wig”? Lol
lol 😂 wait How you fade a wig I’m so curious
prolly the best tutorial on yt thank u 🙏
i understood everything except for the end, why did you fade everything just to go over the whole thing with the half guard
4th time trying this. Everytime i end up like lloyd from dum and dummer
😂😂😂
Thats fucking underrated no one told me in almost 100 plus videos i watched after ordering my trimmer and clippers and everything and before that doing a 2 fingers guide line and then split it in a half really helpful and in depth detail, preciate the hustle and the tutorial bro God bless you
Hi im a young barber and your videos have helped me alot. Thank you
Where do you cut bro ! Appreciate it man !!
Really nice step by step. I appreciate this. I have a few comments based on learning from a lot of other videos and trying this on myself:
1) Your skin is loose so use one hand to hold your scalp tight like you did with your beard.
2) Go on ahead and go skin tight. Your fade is real nice so skin tight makes it extra crispy.
3) You hair on the sides doesn't grow fwd. It grows DOWN from the crown of your head. 😂. That shit made me laugh but I think it may not matter as much for white hair. You good tho.
4. Use the comb every now and again to make sure the hairs are still straight and ready to be cut. But I think w white hair it doesn't matter as much as it does for mine.
5. I like that 3 panel mirror. I need that in my life even though I can get away with just a handheld.
6. This cutting my own hair is a little addictive. And fun to try different techniques. Yours is a little more confusing for me but I'm still learning.
Dude your fade is so good, you would never know you did that yourself 🙌
I like this "there's only one way to find out and that's by doing it" method in some of these barber methods. Definitely been overthinking it, finna chop my own wig soon. 😀
I don't always have time to get to a barber, but this gave me my best @home cut I've had in years. Appreciate it!
Actually I didn’t expect that 😁 but you did very well
And to all those new barbers they want to improve this guy is best one and easiest way for cutting hair is his ways you don’t have to go from here to there and try tens of barbers stick with one and then you will find your style he is really good 👍 😍 I recommend this guy for all of you
Thanks man. I really appreciate this 🙏
Great Job my man! Best tutorial out there.
great tutorial man, you explained that stuff so easily
Appreciate you for the feedback! Hay other self cut videos should I make ?
I straight butchered my shit
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😢😢😅😅😅😅
This was awesome 👏🏽 thank you.
Hey man, thanks for the amazing tutorial! Could you do a self cut part where you cut/ trim the top as not many videos show how to do this? Thanks in advance
Thanks for watching bro !! I really do need to do a tutorial like that. It would be hella tricky for me since I have curly hair bro 🥺
Much better than my hairdresser
😭
I like that mirror
Omg, someone who finally actually EXPLAINS what's important and not just show how good they cut hairs. You do both. 😉
Thanks for this great Video!
Honestly this is the only unique video very well explained I’ve ever watched!!
I’ve watched so many video is and messed up my hair I tried this one and trust me!! I can’t believe I did it myself !! I did it right!
Thanks
Let’s fucken go!!!!
For your moustache you can smile hard and trim it using your lip as a guideline.
I just cut my own hair but the fade didn’t come out good watching your video on my own haircut next time might be the solution thanks for making a video like this one
Here because every barber I got too ain’t shit !!! All that fancy equipment and fancy gears 👎🏼👎🏼
✊
Do you also have a tutorial to selfcut the hair on top ?
I almost can't believe how easy you made that. Much appreciated!
I can get a 7-8/10 haircut myself beats paying $35 a cut in todays economy.
Looks awesome. Thanks
Got you !
My turn... will try it today.
How’d you do !???
"...and then use the 0.5 guard" finding this mid tutorial haha. Guess i will have to work with what i have
U are amazing❤
❤️
man you great!! thanks bro. im about to try this, my first self cut ever. hopefully this works its a very clean tutorial
How did it turn out bro 💪💪?
bro I'm so fucking impressed. I would never have thought it's possible to do it by yourself without seeing it. Thanks for the inspiration. Now I have to find that triple mirror and give it a try
You just put my barber out of business. And saved me a ton of ca$h!!! Thanks my dude
Thank you, just cut my 3 sons' hair for the first time.
Thanks for the vid!
Got you !!!
Beautiful video, every now and then I like to come back to re learn how to cut my hair and brush up on the techniques. I’ve been cutting my own hair since the pandemic and I’m sure I’ve saved over $3000 worth of hair cuts at this point
I think 3k is an understatement! Maybe a lil more and also time 💪💪✂️
Ty for watching my content btw !!
Because we don't want soggy guidelines. They gotta be CRISPY!
3 years cutting my own hair. Have saved myself at least $3,000
Barbers have gotten ridiculous with their prices.
Great tutorial!!!! 1st time it took me just over an hour. Later on, after i cut my coffee consumption down, i was able to finish in 35 to 40 minutes.
Can I got straight from 0 to 1/2
Rather than 0 to 1 and using the half to flick the line
Hey man I have these clippers and when I try opening the level to fade it closes automatically is that supposed to happen ? Am I suppose to keep a finger on the level for these clippers ?
Simple fix bro. There’s a little screw on the lever. Tighten the screw , it will make the lever tighter.
Really 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate you !!!
What straight razor do you recommend for beginners?
Dude, I clicked on this because of the Rivers jersey. I have an LT stitched one hanging up in the game room but tbh this is by far the best tutorial Ive scene. Time to go f my hair up!
Can’t find anyone to do my hair to my liking anymore. Got budget friendly equipment and can’t wait for my hair to grow so I can cut my own hair and using your video as a guideline. Best video I have seen so far!
Good luck w your self cut journey bro ! Ima keep posting these videos !!! Appreciate it
The only problem with this video... the Rivers jersey makes this dude's head look lopsided, and the haircut looks junky af. Outside of that, great tutorial. GO BRONCOS!!!🤡
I went to Walmart and brought these same exact clippers... But mines came with the 1.5 guard and the 0.5 guard
Really ?? Fuck bro I got robbed 😭
Seriously yes you did 🤣😂😂😂😂🤣😂🤣
can you do a video recommending clippers
For beginners or just in general
God is so good man, you brought joy to me, your brother, thank you for this and god bless you
You don't need expensive clippers. I seen prison inmates doing fades with a razor and looking amazing
I'm going to start cutting my own hair. These barbers are getting out of hand with their prices, and i get to learn a new skill
Did you try it out !!??
Hey bro. Can you do a review on the Surker K7 or K9 clippers & Surker SK755 trimmers. There cheap cordless clippers that a lot of barbers are recommending for the same money you spent on this clippers.
Ima go over this comment section and buy all the clippers you want me to use. I’ve never heard of those clippers before bro
@@DavidEscamilla153 ruclips.net/video/oHyAFBaWNaY/видео.html
I started cutting my own hair I’m getting pretty decent your videos helped out a lot I never really would of guessed how expensive the clippers and just the entire setup can be I spend around 380$ on just the clippers and trimmers smh
Worth it down the stretch. Haircuts went from 10 dollars to 30 and upwards (that’s not including tip)
This video helped a lot. 🔥🔥🔥❤️🤟 Now I can do my own undercut and save $40 dollars every 2 weeks.
That’s so cool !!!!
I have a question ! If a man is handicapped and only has use of one hand ? How can he give himself a fad or haircut
Excelente explicación..hace falta más tutoriales en español..por favor..saludos
Ya tengo canal en español !!!
Sígueme 🤟🏼
Salve, oltre allo specchio a 360 per tagliare il dietro dei capelli hai un ulteriore specchio?
This is a amazing tutorial took me 1 and a half hours but got me a better haircut than most barbers.
I just dropped a similar video ! Doing a taper today 💪 check it out
good video
Ty ! What other self cut videos should I drop ?
@@DavidEscamilla153 the quality of the video was good when i first saw it, but then when i went to see it again to cut my hair my self the video quality went bad. i had to use another video to doit.
@@HermesTubaso wtf bro 😤, I have other self cut videos too but I’m surprised that happened . Are you still cutting your own hair ?
@@DavidEscamilla153yea i went through another one of your videos to do it, but i initially liked this one better, you kinda explained it better for me, i did cut my hair yesterday i did a decent job for my first time im happy with the result, my girl and friends where like 😮👍🏼 ❤ thanks
Great video very informative. Thank you.
This is the best tutorial I’ve seen on here. Very detailed.
Dope shit man I give my son the fade style I use the magic clip! I use the same fold mirror you have that I bought at Marshall’s lol
Request a link to the mirror in the video clip.
You should of done the cut with the guards that come in the box with the original clippers.. Not everyone is gonna be able to go spend extra money on wahl premium guards.. Unless the wahl premium guards come with that clipper, then nevermind.
You’re right bro ! The wahl premium guards are like 15$ bro
I cut my own hair too but one thing that always confused me is. When you have the 1/2 guard and you extend to teeth all the way out. Does that make it a full 1 guard? So would it be redundant to use a 1 guard right after?
#1 Guard: 3 mm
# no guard: 0.5 mm
# 2 Guard: 6 mm
That's a Wahl clipper, not a Walmart clipper. I'm guessing you meant that you bought it at Walmart. Good video. Thanks for posting it!
I cut my husband's hair , and my own. This video was awesome, I usually do scissor cuts, it was hard for me to understand clippers always doing scissor fades. He wants to go shorter thanks so much for this. Also did that dermaplaner not hurt? I literally said ouch use cream haha
Appreciate you for watching !! Glad I can help :)
Did you use these clippers too ?
hmmm the dj khaled look
Aye another day doing a selfcut. I’ve been getting better. I always come back to this video to help me
yeah i fucked my shit up lmao
1 finger is about 1/2 an inch
Dude the fact you can freehand this is amazing to me. I'd be terrified to try.
Bro. I’ve messed myself up so many times 😂
@@DavidEscamilla153 Would you recommend starting with higher guards to try a fade that way if you mess it up you can just buzz it off? Otherwise I guess you can just go skinhead.
good video, gave my self a wicked fade for my undercut. literally went step by step with him and paused where i needed to. Used tools like a headband to put my lines in. made it really easy. will come back to this video in the future.
Great tutorial video and informative. Thanks for sharing
Looks good! I tried doing it on my own and screwed up and ended up going bald for a clean look 😂😂😂
The mirror makes it way harder cause you thinking ur going one way and going the other
Was hoping you was gonna use the coloured attachments but all good cuzz great work!
Are they zero gap?
Yeah 😎
Not only is the fade clean asf but the chargers jersey makes it 1000x better 🤣🤣 bolt up ⚡️
How can I find the hanging mirror cheap ?
Amazon bro ! 360 mirror
That and all of the wahl don't have any force to shitti
Cutting my own hair for 3 years since moved in UK. Every time it takes me 2 hours at least. Recently got me 360 mirror which has been really good for my blending quality. So guys if you really want to get good quality cut get yourself 360 mirror and cordless hair clippers. Good luck
That’s how I started my career tbh ! It’s been a long time of me cutting my own hair
*me fails*
*goes all head with nr2*
*will try again in 2 months*
Good work man:)
😂😂😂😂😂😢
@@ibromuratovic5159 but left some bird nest on top tho :D
i like skin the side & back? number 0? how do u do that?
BRO this the best barber 💈 tutorial on RUclips 💯 look super clean also!, idk why it was so hard for other barbers to explain it like this… but good stuff bro 💯 best barber on RUclips 😏😏.
Glad I could help💪🙏🙏🙏
Just did my own hair, I failed with fading the lines but doesn’t look that bad gonna let it grow a bit more and keep trying
I am done
Nice video, but how can I found these three mirrors in one?
Damn this is a good video. I used to do my own simple cut, but wouldn't fade it all nice like this. Went back to the barber this year and spent about $250 on just 5-6 cuts. That's crazy. You can buy a whole ass BaByliss set with that + the fold out mirror and never go back to the barber. I bought some Hatteker clippers a couple years ago and they have been amazing. They never pull hairs whereas Wahls like this are known to pull. Just ordered an Andis foil shaver to help out with the fades and cut down time. Really liked the guideline work in this video. Thanks for the tips, bro.
My man !!! I appreciate the thoughtfulness w this response. I’m constantly trying my best to make these videos. Some hit and some don’t which is why I don’t post them often.
Coming back for more 🤝
What size motor is that ?
Idk! It’s a color guard clipper
Did I end up with a fade? Nope. Was it easy? Nope. Just couldn't see the lower guidelines after a certain point...
Honestly! It’s hard man. Don’t give up
This is the best tutorial on you tube!
This got me gassed up ! LFG 💪
I’m berly starting out cutting my own hair going on my 2nd try and honestly I don’t do that bad of a job, I think the only thing I struggle on is my blending technique and my first line is too high. What can I do to prevent this from happening?
Make it lower
