When fly tying becomes art. Beautiful work. The explanation of the winging technique was superb and then on top was the use of superglue applied to the tying thread to cement the wings in place makes perfect sense. I normally just use varnish. I also noticed that you had cut and tapered the bristles of the brush for accuracy...it is all in the detail.
Greetings Mark! Your flys are fantastic! I saw couple pictures of other flys, at the beginning of video. So do you have some where else videos or pictures? I would love to see more of these. Br.Jesse
@@FinesseFlyTying was in touch with him last week. Didn’t have any but suggested summer duck. Does not have the prominent black bar but is excellent as front hackle of a mayfly a la Gosling and much easier to tie on. That video was superb. Congratulations
One of the best instructional videos I have watched. Your explanation of what you're doing and why makes all the difference.
Thank you very much!
Gotta admire a tyer who doesn't crowd the eye. Makes it sooo much easier to pick out a Turle knot when you're on the river.
Beautiful job
Thank you! 😊

Cheers from Newfoundland Canada

Thank you. Yeah applying superglue holds things in place immediately saving a lot of frustration 😉
