Great work, it is always good to watch how you go about making these parts. Vertical height always seems to be an issue with the Centec even with a riser installed and I can't imagine how you could use the mill without a riser
Well it was designed as a horizontal mill initially - so mostly surfacing and cutting inside corners/etc. - and as a result no need at all for much vertical height!
Eyup William a change is as good as a rest the crank will come good.
that little traction engine looks great, i've been thinking of making a 1" scale Minnie from an old book i have, may be one day soon i may make a start.

The reason I started this was to get practice with copper smithing a boiler. But really, the rest of it's pretty easy, and it seems crazy not to use the end result!
