NOTE: Around 6:55, you indicate that international applicants should use the International Application. If you read carefully, it says to ONLY use the International Application if you are ONLY applying to U of T in Ontario. International applicants who wish to apply to more than one university in Ontario would normally use the 105 application. It will save you some money, and you don't have to submit as many applications. Thank you.
Yea, you are absolutely correct. Thank you so much for clarifying this. OUAC International Application: if you are ONLY applying to U of T OUAC 105: If you are applying to other Ontario Universities alongside U of T.

Hello Zohair, your videos have been of great help these days. But I have an important question... If I apply to Lester B. Pearson, at U of T, can't I also apply for another scholarship?
Hi, I like your video. It is very detailed and informative. I’m interested as well in applying in UofT for computer science. Please make a video on how you apply for your student visa. This will help us a lot. Love from Philippines 🇵🇭
Hello, at 2:22 when you search international requirements. Do you know, what does exactly mean this phrase "First Year completed at a recognized university" that appears for some countries?
Sorry, I don't know about that but you can definitely email the U of T Admissions Team and ask them to clarify it for you in case the phrase is present under your country name.
Hi Zohair, regarding the Activities/Employment section, I'm still a bit confused. You explained that in that part of the OUAC we need to list all our extracurricular activities since the beginning of high school but it specifies "This section is required if you have finished high school". Although it states that, is there where we list all our extracurriculars?
This section is just for people who've graduated. If you are a gap year student, you must complete the section. But if you are still in high school, you may fill it out or leave it. It's completely up to you.
Hi, I realized you didn't touch on the Document Upload section. I am a Canadian citizen, do I have to submit my passport in that section? Or can I do that at a later date. Thank you for your help. :)
which type of application should student-submitted to U of T if they are international students but they have done 2years diploma in college at Ontario previously ??
Hi Zonair, thank you. I have a question, I’m an international student and I think I made a mistake on my OUAC account and didn’t see 105 section because I used my phone to apply can I delete the application and start all over again? Or how can I see if I didn’t make a mistake and actually applied as an international student?
Hello, In the activities section, do I include all my extracurriculars during high school starting from the recent ones? The website states that you list the activities "from the time you completed high school until the present."

For IELTS Test, I requested British Council to send my electronic TRF to U of T and they did that for 4-5 USD per institution. Regarding the transcript submission, it depends on your education board. I had to request IBO to send my electronic transcripts to U of T, using their paid service. Moreover, once you apply to U of T you will be asked to report all of your Grade 11th and 12th Semester Grades on their portal.
Hello Do i need to accept the offer in the OUAC website first, then receive the confirmation letter of application from UofT? OR I can receive the confirmation letter, then accept my offer after UofT has provided me offer? Many thanks
Hello~ I am quite confused about the information on the submission of the Transcript. I am applying as an international student. Or do I have to ask my school to send my transcript electronically? (If so, is there a platform or sth for my school to submit my transcripts? ) Thank you very much!
The submission of the transcript depends on your education system. In my case, I did the IB DP and paid IBO to send my transcripts to U of T electronically. You might have to approach your exam conducting institution to send the transcripts or you might have to follow a different procedure altogether. I suggest you email UofT's admissions office, tell them about your education system and ask them for the right procedure. Thanks.

It usually takes 13-14 days for your IELTS scores to come out. did you mean you enrolled in a university after high school? If yes, you won't be eligible to apply as U of T says on their scholarship page "students already attending post-secondary studies cannot be considered."

Hey i want ask question for International student?. I completed my I.B diploma an very good high scores, but i dont finish high school can still get in egineering program with I.B scores only, Because i did very good I.B exams
Your IB score will definitely help your profile, but you need to graduate High School because if you don't, it the university might not admit you because of your poor academic performance.
Hi Zohair, Thank you for all the resources. May I know if it is compulsory to attach a document of passport to prove that I am an international citizen because my current passport is expired and it will take more days to renew it which will be possible only after the deadline ?
I don't know for sure what you should be doing in this situation, but do contact the OUAC support team for this and let them know you problem. They will definitely help.
I applied to top universities in the US (names here ruclips.net/video/-ckumKMOwyQ/видео.html) through the common app, which gives fee waiver to needy/ low income students.
For Canada, I only applied to U of T because of the full scholarship, but otherwise I applied to all the other universities registered on Common App, where fee waiver is offered for the application fee. 👍
Thanks, Zohair for the in-depth explanation. I have a question, what if my school offers only 11 grades of education, not 12 (in my country most schools have 11 grades)? Would it be possible for me to apply to U of T?
Hi, Aruzhan. I guess you're from Colombia. If so, let me explain to you as I had the same question. U of T for those cases gives individual consideration based on your academic achievement. Otherwise, you must complete a full year of post-secondary studies at a recognized university; if you check the requirements for international students from Colombia it specifies that. I reached out to U of T's recruitment team and they will ask you for additional information such as recommendation letters, copies/certificates of any award received for academic achievement, a statement from your school attesting to your rank in class, a school profile, as well as SAT/ACT results. That evidence should be submitted through the Join U of T Portal after submitting the initial application (OUAC 105). They can consider you as an exception if you're among the top students of your school.
What if my final exams results are delivered in July after I submit an application in November or December. Could I still get in ? Could it be considered as a delay? I'm a french student . Please can you answer!
Thanks for your question. Yes, you'll get in !! I was an IB student and IB students also get their final exam results in July. If you are admitted, you will get your conditional offer which will only become a non-conditional offer when you submit your final exam results in July. No, it won't be considered a delay.
@@Pavitra04 Actually, I haven't engaged in any internship before and so I don't know much about getting internships . Yes, they help you stand out when you are doing an internship in a field you are genuinely passionate about and you are able to bring the internship into your profile. One internship alone won't make your application stand out, as far as I know.
Hi I have a question I am right now in grade 12 and so when these application process and everything like this will be going on I'll be in 12th and my exams will be most probably in May or June 2023 And I will obviously apply for fall 2023 So what to do about my 12th grade result Do I have to wait to complete my form😑 ?? Zohair Ansari i have a question. How will we apply from sept-nov if we still did not get our marks? Do they only look at the mid terms of grade 12? And is it ok if i have bad marks in grade 11 but good marks in the midterm of grade 12
Hi Zohair, I’m currently 17 and planning to apply for UofT. I’d want to move as soon as I get my driving licence when I get 18 yo in June next year. I’ve heard there’s a semester intake around September, so when should I start applying for the same?
You should apply this year (by November 2021) because then you will be required to attend U of T in August 2022 (by that time you'll have your license).
OUAC 101 is for current Ontario Students, so you shouldn't use that. OUAC 105 is when you're applying to U of T as well as other Ontario Schools. OUAC International Application is for international students who are applying to ONLY U of T in Ontario. So if you are applying to other Ontario schools along with U of T, use OUAC 105. Otherwise, go ahead with OUAC international application.
No English Test is required for the Lester B. Pearson scholarship, You just need to apply to U of T, get nominated by your school and answer the questions in the scholarship application form.
@@aditidwivedi4054 I need to check whether it's mandatory to be submitted or not, but I do remember that I was asked to upload a scanned copy of my passport when I was filling my OUAC Application.

So ill take IELTS but which module should I take Academic/General? and also I dont understand that should I apply for express entry or student visa? I visit the website but dont understand the procedure, requirements, fees.. . will you please tell me what should I do? Im very confused. Thanks
Walaykum Assalam, I do not have much knowledge about post-graduate programs and their requirements, but what I do know is that your part-time work at British Council will count as work experience and when you are going in any foreign country for study, you are supposed to take IELTS academics.
No, A Level students do not need to submit their IELTS For U of T English Language Requirements as long as they have a minimum final or predicted grade of “C” in English Language Subject. On a side note, you'll definitely need English Test for Study Permit to Canada.
Yes, you need to pay 180 CAD when you submit your OUAC Application. Apart from this, if you are a not a native speaker, you need to submit English language proficiency test scores to U of T (which also requires money).
Though I don't know much about graduate programs at U of T, I think work experience nevertheless helps a lot with entrance into any graduate programs 🙂

Hi..May I know the correct application ..is it the international application or 105 application to apply to U of T ..for an international student who is nominated for the Lester B Pearson Scholarship.
Are you ONLY applying to U of T to any other Ontario college too?
I am applying in my last year of high school, as in, I am still doing my A levels. In the highest level reached section of the form, do I enter AS levels or A levels? This is for the OUAC 105 application.
Could you please send me a screenshot of the question on Instagram. instagram.com/zohair_ansari_/
heyy..is SAT score is required if i am applying for the engineering and astronomy courses!??
No, it isn't. SAT is OPTIONAL.
Submitting a very good score will help your application, but not submitting it won't harm your application.

hello, im currently in grade 12 and i am planning to join u of t in 2023. im confused about the intakes and im applying for the lester scholarship as well, and my current cbse school ends around feb- march 2023. when should i start my application process?
I have the same trouble, I don’t know when I can start to apply in OUAC 105
Hi Zohair, Thanks for putting this all together. This was very helpful. I have a question; I have applied to UofT and in my application portal they have asked me for the Proof of English Facility. Does this means I have to submit my academic IELTS anyways even though if I'm a permanent resident? Any help on this appreciated. Thanks
Thank you so much.
I don't know much about the application requirements for permanent residents.
Can you please share the exact question?
Hey, I’m in the same boat and even though we are permanent residents, we have to provide Academic IELTS.
Hello do extra curricular is required to get lester b pearson scholarship?? Or only academic
Hey Arav, a lot of things are considered for Lester b. Pearson scholarship your leadership, community involvement, extracurricular activities, academic and more...
@@ZohairAnsari Thank you brother ! They don't need it in the beginning stage
And can u share the other scholarship name amd country where u apply and the application fee is waiver there???
I applied to top universities in the US (names here ruclips.net/video/-ckumKMOwyQ/видео.html) through the common app, which gives fee waiver to needy/ low income students.
I don't have academic scores of 11 th what I can do
Hi Zohair, can i apply to the U of T international application even if I am applying to york uni also
Yes, but you can accept only one after you get admission letters.
Did you pay the application fee for every university that you applied? It´s expensive
For Canada, I only applied to U of T because of the full scholarship, but otherwise I applied to all the other universities registered on Common App, where fee waiver is offered for the application fee. 👍
@@ZohairAnsari Thanks, your content really help :´)
Thanks, Zohair for the in-depth explanation. I have a question, what if my school offers only 11 grades of education, not 12 (in my country most schools have 11 grades)? Would it be possible for me to apply to U of T?
May I know the country where you're from?
Since class 9 my grades were in the 90s but I don't have a lot of extracariculars. What do think my chances are of getting accepted in UofT?
Academics are way more important to U of T than extracurriculars. You have good chances of getting in, my friend. Just apply 😉
Bhai are you still online ? please kuch puchnq hai
What about the scholarship
What if my final exams results are delivered in July after I submit an application in November or December. Could I still get in ? Could it be considered as a delay? I'm a french student . Please can you answer!
Thanks for your question.
Yes, you'll get in !! I was an IB student and IB students also get their final exam results in July. If you are admitted, you will get your conditional offer which will only become a non-conditional offer when you submit your final exam results in July. No, it won't be considered a delay.
Hi zohair i wanted to know if University of Toronto accept dummy admission?
I have no idea about it.
Hi, I want to ask if I can apply to two majors from different faculties at u of t
Yes, in your OUAC application, you can choose two different programs at two different U of T campuses.
Should we take a gap year after 12th to brush up more skills
Yes you can !! there won't be any issues if you apply to U of T in your gap year.
@@ZohairAnsari for ivy leagues too
No, you won't have any issues as long as you want have valid reasons and you engage in strong extracurriculars in your gap year.
Can u tell me the websites that can offer internships …..and will these internships be enough to make college application stand out
@@Pavitra04 Actually, I haven't engaged in any internship before and so I don't know much about getting internships . Yes, they help you stand out when you are doing an internship in a field you are genuinely passionate about and you are able to bring the internship into your profile. One internship alone won't make your application stand out, as far as I know.
My passport is expired. Can I still upload the document to my international status?
Get it renewed and then upload.
Hi I have a question
I am right now in grade 12 and so when these application process and everything like this will be going on I'll be in 12th and my exams will be most probably in May or June 2023
And I will obviously apply for fall 2023
So what to do about my 12th grade result
Do I have to wait to complete my form😑 ??
Or I'll update it when I get the result??
The result will be most probably after 1 &1/2 month after my exams are finished ??
Plz lemme know about this
Thank you 😊
You will follow the regular application cycles, but will submit your predicted grades instead of the final ones.
Hi, I'm from the state board from India not cbse am i eligible
Yes
Can I apply U of T right now for the fall 2022 entry or Should I wait until September???
No, you can't apply to U of T right now as the Admission Process for the fall of 2022 will start in September 2021.
Do I need to do IELTS EXAM to apply after class 12?
Yes
Is the date is over for nominating students from their school sir...?
For the fall of 2021, the process is over. But for admission in the fall of 2022, student nomination hasn't started yet. It will start in the first week September 2021 and the Deadline will be November 30, 2021. You can find out more about the deadlines here future.utoronto.ca/pearson/about/ 👍
Zohair Ansari i have a question. How will we apply from sept-nov if we still did not get our marks? Do they only look at the mid terms of grade 12? And is it ok if i have bad marks in grade 11 but good marks in the midterm of grade 12

Hi Zohair,
I’m currently 17 and planning to apply for UofT.
But can a state board student in india apply ?
Yes.
I m so confused like i m currently studying in class 12 in india. Should i use 101 or 105 for application
And which eng test is required in Lester B Pearson scholarship??
No English Test is required for the Lester B. Pearson scholarship, You just need to apply to U of T, get nominated by your school and answer the questions in the scholarship application form.

Walaykum Assalam,
I do not have much knowledge about post-graduate programs and their requirements, but what I do know is that your part-time work at British Council will count as work experience and when you are going in any foreign country for study, you are supposed to take IELTS academics.
@@ZohairAnsari Thanks a lot 🙂🙂
which is the best month to apply uoft...?
As soon as the admission cycle starts i.e. September every year.
Is A level students still need IElTS exam
No, A Level students do not need to submit their IELTS For U of T English Language Requirements as long as they have a minimum final or predicted grade of “C” in English Language Subject.
On a side note, you'll definitely need English Test for Study Permit to Canada.
does it cost any money for applying?
if yes then how much money require for applying?
plz reply as soon
Yes, you need to pay 180 CAD when you submit your OUAC Application. Apart from this, if you are a not a native speaker, you need to submit English language proficiency test scores to U of T (which also requires money).
