Police car’s ‘green light escort’ for poisoned girl

- Опубликовано: 19 май 2017
- Recent video footage showed what happened when a father in Pengzhou, south China’s Sichuan Province sought help from the police after discovering his three-year-old daughter had mistakenly taken rat poison. With the “escort” of the police car, the girl was rushed to a hospital over 12.4 miles away in just 15 minutes, and doctors successfully treated her.

That ambulance behind them: "Oh ok then I guess that I'll just sit here and pretend to be DHL"
Haha, not funny
They most likely didn't need the ambulance, since the car had an escort and could drive to the hospital quickly, moving her to the ambulance would just increase the time until she arrived at the hospital.
Pretty sure an ambulance can do nothing to someone who has been poisoned aside from transport

I love how the cop didn't ask a bunch of questions. He acted, and he didn't hesitate to use the full power of the whole department to save a life. The little girl is lucky to have such a smart father, and that the police took him seriously.
Yeah that's the always up in the air question: Will he take me seriously?
I once walked into a cop shop in SE DC after going through an intersection with a downed light pole in the road by the corner. The old fashioned kind with an arm and a light. Not huge. A white workvan ahead of me barely rolled over it, dragging it a bit enough for me to go around. I knew the station was nearby so I swung by.
I told the desk cop. He looked at me with an incredulous amused face. He didn't believe me that a light pole was in the road at the intersection. But if he didn't believe me, why not arrest me? I said no for real. "Oh OK ma'am... uhhh... ha... I'm not sure uhhhh. Ha..." Ugh forget it. And I left.
