Like what happened with the famous Hitler scene from "Downfall", people are making videos with subtitles using this "interview" aired on Jesus Quintero's show, "Ratones Coloraos".
The interviewee is Juan Joya, commonly known as "Risitas" or "El Risitas", literally meaning "little laughs" or "giggles", due to the way he laughs during his jokes and stories. He became very known in Spain.
(The part most people end up using starts at 4:20, inb4 weed jokes)
Some non-Spanish speakers wanted to know what they originally said, so I made this for them. I tried to make it as faithful as possible, but Risitas speaks with Andalusian accent and sometimes it can be a bit "closed". However, I think I was able to take all the meaning and translate it properly.
I hope you like it. If you have any doubt about what they say or any other question, put it in the comments, I'll reply as soon as possible.

The story itself was funny as hell. He cardinally messed up, but he looked back at it and laughed with the most genuine, most heart warming manner. And his laughter makes the story that much better. May his legacy live on.

The story resounds with me because he just did exactly as he was told, and it worked out so badly, and let's face it, it was because the chef's orders were bad. I think most of us can relate to it because we've had similar situations, and while we just get to move on to the next job, you can bet that our supervisors got a reputation for making bad decisions.
I bet not many people know (except for Spanish-speaking people) that Jesus Quintero too, passed on about more than a month ago. Those two blokes finally got reunited again in heaven

Spanish here. The translation is spot on! I'm glad the whole world appreciates so much this guy, he is a legend in Spain. He became famous in this interview show, with his brother in law, el cuñado. They would always tell jokes and laugh histerically (both of them). If you happen to read this, search for those videos, they are hilarious!! Although, they may not be translated.. but this guy's laughter is something else ("El risitas" means something like "the guy who is always laughing")

As of today, 28th of April 2021, Juan Joya Borja a.k.a Risitas has sadly passed away after complications regarding his illness. He was 65 years old.

EDIT: Sadly, Jesús Quintero (the interviewer) has passed away today, 3rd of October 2022, at 82 years old.
He was one of the biggest contemporary references in Spanish journalism and presenting, having received many awards during his career. His influence cannot be overstated.

The translation is so much funnier than any meme edits, it's fucking hilarious.
The translation does not do the story justice at all and is nowhere close as funny as understand the language. Some things are just funnier when told in different languages and spanish is definitely a solid choice for jokes and stories

Thing is, he wasn't a comedian. He was from my city, Seville, and what he was... I can say he was a tavern poet, a popular hero, a rogue king of the corners of our city. One of those old spanish bohemian characters that are now disappearing. A tradition of folcloric and respected clowns of their own lifes. And always respected by the people as one of the many faces of our city. He was always, every day, at El Quitapesares, a very traditional southern spanish tavern that could be translated like The Sorrow Remover, being a livelong friend with the owner, Pepe Peregil, barman and cantaor (Flamenco singer). Pepe is gone too, and now I KNOW they are having a cold beer, singing, laughing and joking around, living the eternity like they live their lives: Laughing at everything.

I came here because yesterday I saw this video and I couldn't stop laughing about his story. Today I told mine about how I gave birth in the car and people around me couldn't stop laughing about it and me neither. That day was terrifying but telling it today made me laugh so hard. The health of Juan Joya Borja, who rose to fame as El Risitas, is going through a delicate moment. The television, discovered in the year 2000 by Jesús Quintero, is admitted to the Hospital de la Santa Caridad in his native Seville to recovering from a vascular complication that led to a leg amputation. In principle, his health is not in danger and he is expected to recover normally.
Yes... It appeared in the news here in Spain some days ago. Truly sad news, but at least he is not in danger anymore.
