You could put feces inside the rocks hiding inns with an opening on them and make a small rock structure outside to make it look like the players are walking into a cave. That way you could hide the inns and make it look natural.
@@Xgodokiller Sir Xgod continues this trend in the next video. It gets hilariously out of hand, but they've helped me find some errors in the class design potentially.
I just found you a few days ago and i am a few videos behind, but it took me a while to realize you only have around 650 subs, your content is very professional and good!
Ah idk why I thought i wrote this comment but apparently i didn't. I loved this episode because there was not only the building part but also the management part. I actually enjoy solving problems so i like this kind of episodes. Also in the next video we will see if increasing the number of in's is actually the solution to the number of actives players. Also like you said the players are very un-optimised in the way they play. So maybe you can boost's the rewards in the areas where they actually do stuff. here is a list: You could boost the exp reward of the most completed level 2 quests, boost the exp reward of the monster-killing quest because the players seem to really enjoy farming the monsters. Also because they like farming monster you could also boost the reward they get when killing monster ( the general reward not the quests), To optimise the killing of monster you should try to always 'hide' or place a potion shop/armour shop near the really busy monsters zones. These boost may seem to much but actually they wont affect much the level 3 zone because of the giant gap of exp ratio needed to get to level 4.
I'm trying to diversify the content in each episode more. One, it helps make sure I'm keeping an eye on everything and two, everyone watching who likes that kind of stuff doesn't get bored by over building and vis versa.
Just binged watched this whole series for the past 2 days, it's been a fun ride! Subbed yesterday and here to stay :D This playthrough made me get the game too, I love the stories and care in each side quest and area gets in this series - it made the writer and game artist in me want to go wild, so I just had to get the game lol Keep on the great world building man! I can't wait to eventually see the entire continent filled up!
I think you should work on another level 1-2 region before working on a second 4-5/6-7 region, realistically, I think you should do it after this region you are currently working on, just to take some load off of Brightwood. Just my thoughts though, also I love the series keep it up! Also, you know, a random secret angari ranger elite named "Diamond" would be kinda cool
In hindsight this should have been done from the start, I 100% agree. Because of the way I've thought some things through I'm not sure I want another 1-2, but I do think a rework is probably in order. It needs to be easier to go from 1 to 2 and Eastwash should probably be tweeked to be a 2-3 region. At first I thought the move from 1-3 would be far faster but I've watched the ai at fastest speed and they play very inefficiently.
I love the balance of this game xD the only people that has managed to get to level 3 has 60+ hours in the game, and some has that time and hasnt gotten to level 3 even, people really need time to progress in this game hahaha
Maybe in the snowy area you can have a cozy little town with multiple inns. The reason for the number of inns would be because so many people pass through their town on the road to Valkren, and need a place to stay.
Lore Idea: Zayphyir also gets water from the snow Biome, but at a higher price. The People from the snowy Mountains are basically abusing the crisis in Zayphyir, for a quick buck. Maybe The snow biome also Transports a lot of Water (That was originally snow) to Brightwood, so that they can make high quality Beer in Brightwood. Can you please use existing biomes and flesh the Lore of them out, with other biomes? Because for me it feels like every existing biome is all for themselves. Hope you still read the message, I know its on an old Video, but still would mean a lot.
This is somewhat part of the original plan. I wanted to build an aqueduct from the mountains to Zaphyir, but I didn't feel like there were good assets in the game to build one. I still might if the time comes to me.
@@ThatOnePlaythrough Ah ok, thats really cool. What I absolutely LOVE about this series is, that you really put thought into the Lore and everything. I would love to see the aqueduct, but you said there arent any good assets in the game, so its a shame. But hey, maybe one day, if you find a good asset. Anyways I hope another Vid will come out soon! I am REALLY addicted rn. Love the Lore aswell. Anyway hope you have a good day or night, Bye! btw Subbing rn...😅
@@ThatOnePlaythrough Well, cant wait! I just wanted to ask: do you stream while playing the game and where? I think you should stream it and then cut the stream up for RUclips, that way you can reach out to the community some more AND make vids for youtube, for the people that like edited vids.
This is one of the major considerations I've been thinking about. (1) I really want to stream, as there has only been the one so far. (2) it would allow for way more consistent uploads. The barrier is just me getting a solid time of the week to do it consistently. It's good to know there is interest though.
If it can fit, you could probably add a little epithet to the side of the names of regions like for example Peorheim, Snow and Steel. And if you don't know what an Epithet is, it's like a really short description or motto of something
One thing to do to help move more players to the next region is to make a quest near the end of the regions questline to set a new home at an inn in the next region. This will pull more characters out of the first region and make it less packed.
When the dungeon update is released you should make the first level 6 Raid and make it have multiple stages, really just expand on the lore. Love this series and am totally addicted!
There are at least 2 that I'm remembering. One in the initial entrance out of EastWash an another by the air Depot port in Jladiir. Could be worth looking for another location
Ik there's still a few episodes left, but I have to ask. What if the desert region didn't have a connection to eastwash? What if the main story had you finish up the angari arc as a 4-5. Then transition to the two areas that you labeled 5-6 and finally to the desert which then becomes a lvl 7 area. I love the current layout as is but it's just food for thought.
The idea right now is get players to the "main city" as fast as possible and even create an option down the line that allows access at level 1. I want the main city to be a true capital in that players 1-20 would want to go to on occasion.
I find it hilarious that you have to put inns inside random objects. Idk why there is a limit that sorta forces you to make multiple of the same building.
