- A complete guide on how to level up Alteration to 100 FAST in Skyrim. In today's video you'll learn exactly how to level up to 100 Alteration extremely quickly!
Alteration is one of the six skills that fall under The Mage play-style. The Alteration skill is usually increased by using certain kinds of Alteration spells, but this can be long and tedious process. The method I show in this video is unbelievably quick and is by far the fastest way to level up your character in Skyrim!

seriously though, I see things I know about from playing for so long but he executes these things so much easier and better than any other guide I have seen
I found you don't need to stand still to fall through the floor on the house corner.
Instead of waiting 48 hours you can quicksave, use a force pich shout to make him aggressive then load the quicksave to reset his inventory.
I knew anout the eorlund chest glitch but the method of just standing in that spot was new. Thanks! Much easier than the old method by the main gate 😁

@@theWelshWizard No worries man! Work is a necessary pain. Take all the time you need. Normally I go half caster warrior. Kind of like a witcher or something, though my last few runs have been solely heavy armored no magic warriors, I reckon I should get the other end of the spectrum now lol!

If u repeatedly cast magelight outside while backing solitude gates to the top of the mountains by ur right u can reach 100 alteration with no cost or glitches
If u run out of Magicka wait one hour

unreal this works lol. Travel to solitude, when you come out of the city, turn right there is a cliff face of a mountain. Walk up to it, look up and spam the magelight.

I HAVE BEEN PLAYING THIS GAME SINCE 2013 AND I NEVER KNEW YOU COULD JUST FALL THROUGH THE GROUND!
If you need to level your block Light armor, heavy armor to 100 in 60 seconds
Get a revive dead
Restoration loop exploit
100000+ health ring
200+ block shield
200 damage sword
Getting all this can be done with enchantment and smithing potions
Now get a bandit and kill him,
Put 200 damage sword
Crank the difficulty to legendary
Resurrect with any spell
Wack him with flames to aggro
And block
And you should make it to 100 in 1-2 bandits
Make sure this is raw damage with no enchant on the sword: You don't want to have loose factors
Keep your followers away so they're are distracted
You earned yourself a sub

This is helping a lot it’s getting a bit boring doing all this waiting tho LOL
This IS still a legit way to get out of the borders of Whiterun, I have ANOTHER efficient way to get to the chest : after entering the big door into town, go to your right, a little bit behind where the blacksmith is, and you’ll come into an open air room with a wooden barrel or 2 that you can jump on to get to an open side of that room with no ceiling. And I always take the route that leads toward the meadery place in Whiterun hold, although you don’t actually go there, 🙄. It basically leads to the same spot you went to but a different route. Another favorite secret chest is behind the smelter where Beitild works, right behind a single tree. That chest has some pretty good loot too.
Correction - since my stupid ipad isn’t cooperating with me right now : While thus IS still a legit etc, etc. and I meant to clarify Dawnstar for Beitild’s location - just for anyone who might need some help in case they’re new to Skyrim.
Yeah, that is a much easier chest to access tbf. There's also one on the way up towards the Solitude main gates on the right and another hidden chest outside Markarth by a wall if I remember correctly

You’re right - it’s kinda near where the Khajiit tent would be, but more between the litte stone barricade and the edge of their tent. 😁I was on ESO for a long time but was able to get in some Skyrim time. Got a pretty decent start on Coldharbour quests but have a way to go before I can finally destroy Molag Bal.
You can whirlwind sprint through the underforge if a platter is in front of you and if you quicksave and then hit him reloading the quicksave the gold will reset
For all those without the dragonborn dlc reach 100 enchanting then enchant your armor and jewelry with alteration cost less to cast
You can also use a/some good enough Fortify Restoration potion(s) then equip vendor/drop loot that comes with Fortify Alteration on it if your Enchanting is low. Obviously you need better Fortify Restoration potions the worse your Fortify Alteration gear is.
Another way to do it is get 100% cost reduction for alteration still need telekenisis it will take a lil longer to set up level wise but u just need to pick up a random item and travel between places like whiterun and either riften or dawnstar

Might be a bit late but if you save them use the full fire breath shout on him from the grinding bench and reload the save then talk to him you could restock way faster. Depends on how garbage your internet is tho.

@@theWelshWizard Its really not that big of a difference than the way you showed really. Basically the same way you did it, I just skip the first part of going to solstheim. Unless there is a patch that I never got?, but I have never had to do anything but go to redwater den first and sneak in all the way, I've never bought the redwater skooma either, but now I am curious lol when did they if they did, change it to where one has to do something special before doing this and if so, why would they if they weren't trying to stop it, and if they were trying to stop it then why would they just add a step? You can still do the telekinesis warp + secret of arcana with the USSEP on

Just get to the entrance of Solitude, in the outside and cast magelight into the highest part of the mountains.
For my method of power levelling I use the harmony spell in Riften with the secret of arcana.
Instead of Secret of Arcana you can use a few pieces of max-enchanted Fortify Illusion gear.
it worked the first time, im playing on xbox 360 legendary edition, and when i turned illusion to legendary it would not level at all... i did everything right, and im really confused. please send help

What exactly does the unofficial patch stop you from doing in this guide?
Removes Eorlund's chest from under the Skyforge and prevents the fast traveling/telekinesis glitch
I just enchant a shit ton of necklaces and rings and sell them 😂 sneak sells well but even more with some other enchants
It dosent work for me when I go into the map and fast travel I hear a spell deactivating

Kalbijon Barrow (at least the last time I checked) was bugged in the Steam version of Anniversary Edition. You'd enter and it would crash and send you back to the desktop.
The bugs are reason I haven't gone ahead with the update yet, and of course the mod compatibility issues 😅
you need add ons for this ? because i play on xbox 360 and i don t have gold account to download the odd
U actuallt can beat the boss at level one just lead him thorugh th cave and there well be a gate that u has a lever pully to open and close u can close it and spam fire on him or whatever spell and then if he walks away just open and the close again theres also aces swinginng infront so u might get lucky and get him stuck in it killing him almost instantly figured this out after being vastly unprepared 😭

Does this work in the newest update of Skyrim? I’ve noticed they patched a similar exploit using the “unbound storms” to level up destruction the same way.

Wait...How does this work? I see you use the spell and the power then fast travel, how does it all add up :I? I am trying to understand it but i dont know
Secret of Arcana gives the power to cast spells without using any magicka for 30 seconds. So when the Secret of Arcana is activated and telekinesis is used to pick up an object, you essentially trick the game into thinking that you walked all the way across the map with that object even though you only fast travelled.

FYI, Filament and Filigree isn't necessary for this to work, provided you have equipment that provides sufficient reduction in alteration spell cost.
However, there's little not to do the Kolbjorn Barrow quest.
PS: Ralis has an enchanted ancient Nord pickaxe, which could be pickpocketed, if you don't want to off him.

Went to red water den but there was no telekinesis book
Don't know if this helps you but you have to drink the skooma the dealer gives you and it will be on a table next to you after you wake up

You first have to open the skill menu and then you can choose either Magicka, Health or Stamina to rank up
@@theWelshWizard i think you didnt understand what i meant. The main level bar doesnt go up. I made it legendary but nothing changed.
@@coeus7233 hmm that’s strange... when you make Alteration Legendary, it returns to 1 so that you can repeat the exploit infinitely to back to Legendary (100). Is this not what happens for you? 🤔
@@theWelshWizard Nope, i have tried a few times and it only counts as 1. The logo beneath the altertaion in the skills menu is there but cant see the number.

That falling through the ground thing is not working at all
Please ensure that Unofficial Patch mod is not installed as that will prevent you from escaping Whiterun and the chest from appearing.
It's worth noting that even after uninstalling the Unofficial Patch, some of the files are left behind, and so you would have to start a new game for the files to no longer be present - for the chest to appear and for you to be able to escape Whiterun.
You can only make it legendary 50 times before it stops working
I don't think there's any limit to how many times a skill can be made legendary 🤔

Ah, I'm guessing this works because the game goes "Wow, you moved that item a really long way so you've done a ton of telekinesis casting!" even though of course in practice... Still, pretty funny stuff. That skyrim quality in practice.
Yep, exactly that!
To be fair, if you're holding a concentration spell when Secret of Arcana ends it will still not drain magika. So you COULD walk the whole way holding telekinesis. So it's not really a bug for the game to consider that when you travel.
