For Alteration, learn the Magelight spell and fast travel to Solitude. After leaving the gate heading toward Dragon’s Bridge, immediately turn right and focus on the mountain tops. Cast Magelight and watch for some reason your skill start leveling. Wait an hour every time you run low on magicka. For Conjugation, travel across the river from the Guardian stones to Anise’s Cabin and break into her cellar. After killing her once she attacks you, drag her corpse near the bed inside the cabin and then Soul Trap away. Not only is it near the Mage Stone, but using the bed for an hour instead of waiting gives you the Rested bonus. Plus the cabin doesn’t reset containers, so it’s a free fast travel home
or..just use telkinesis and fast travel as far as possible. most magic you can exploit a glitch where if you use a spell that has a constant effect and then fast travel it continues the spell in transit like you have infinite mana and levels a crap ton based on spells cost and difficulty.
At higher levels and/or after setting glitches up, you are correct. It’s just nice to have an easy, simple, and glitchless way to also do it early game.
@@BlissX99 For my enchanting, I used the smithing tip with the gold ingot & flawless diamond dupe glitch, then enchanted all of them before selling them off. Still a pain, but I used Fortify Sneak in case value = more xp. Since the dupe trick also means unlimited, filled black SGs, I used those to enchant. Speech has levelled up nicely, & I was already around 50 when I did this.
alteration, ngl i prefer using the alchemy loop to get unlimited mana and using the redwater den telekinesis book then holding an item with telekinesis and fast traveling
Also, during the dawn guard quest line, where you go to red water den and drink the specific skooma, you get trapped in one of two cages. One of these cages 100% of the time has the telekinesis tome.
I don't know if anyone else posted this already but if you go to the whiterun hall of the dead there are skeletons you can soul trap to level faster because its during combat and you don't have to have a dead npc
I utilized the cleansing focal point quest using the buffs , having already acquired the artherial crown, I leveled up al but destruction absurdly fast, alteration ....use detect life spell...use telekinesis, illusion....use muffle, conjuration.....use soul trap on a horse or use dual bound sword when engaging enemies. Restoration.....use repel lesser undead due to its wide range...then use circle of protection once acquired
You can also use equilibrium spell to level up your restoration personal reasons I like fast healing and close wounds also helps if you make a suit a ring a necklace and a hood your restoration will cost zero to cast
for alteration, you can make it even quick. in redwater den, u can trigger a event that u get caugth by some vampires and put in a cell with a dead conjurer and a book of telekinesis right to it.
The Ritual Spell quests can actually be started once you reach Lv90 in the respective school. The only caveat is that Colette's Restoration Ritual Spell requires completion of "Good Intentions" (QuestID: MG04) because you have to talk to the Augur of Dunlain

Alteration: there's also a glitched spot right outside Solitude. Aim Magelight at the mountain peaks in the distance, you can go from 15 to 100 in about 5 minutes.
For anyone doing the Telekinesis or other magic fast travel glitch. If it doesnt work make sure you enchant some items like 25% reduction cost in alteration x 4 so it uses no magika. Worked for me
@@BlissX99 I usually do the circle of protection to get restoration to 100 which means I have to be at level 75 iirc just to unlock it. Had no idea I could use repel. Distruction on the other hand.... well let's say having that extra brotherhood sanctuary upgrade is quite useful. Best one as far as I know is rune. That spell you use is extremely useful but.. you know. I was also quite disappointed when I found out conjuring doesn't increase conjuration so soul trap is the best to go. Btw did you know you can use Clairvoyance the same way you use telekinesis for alteration to level up illusion? Only problem is it's significantly slower.

Which means things will take forever to level up. OMG i forgot about that one! I guess its a good way to get the early levels with it.

For alteration telekinesis will work too.. all you do is hold down the cast button( double casting is better) and fast travel to the other side of the map.. instant 100.. same with destruction.
A better way for alteration is to cast mage light on the mountains right outside solitude gate. Aim as high up the mountains as you can since exp depends on how far the spell goes. Less than 5 minutes to 100

@@Huskmini No. I leveled to 100 so fast with mage light (jumped from 20-100 in seconds) I didn’t need to find another way. But if you’re already level 50+ that works too.

It’s going great! I had to restart because every time I took off my infinite health ring I died instantly so I couldn’t do the thalmor Dragonborn quest. I thought it right to restart when I got anniversary edition

For conjuration you can do the same trick with the stone flesh and use bound swords. You get exp every time you summon them. Also for restoration I use the tombs in Whiterun. There are three skeletons in there that are easy to mess with.
Ohhh yeah that would really help with conjuration. Thanks for that! Arcwind Point is better if you're okay with the journey. A lot more skeletons to use.
Edit: Okay so I said that the spell quit out during the fast travel part of the method but actually it stops when I select a place to fast travel to. I'm not sure why but that's what's going on. I made a save of my game, made the skill legendary in Alteration, dropped a piece of armor at the Thieves Guild, held the trigger to pick up the item, I kept holding the trigger while I went to the map and teleported to Solitude but the spell quits out during the loading screen. My skill goes up to level 20 and that's it. Yes I have the Mage and Lover stone while wearing the crown, I am on Legendary difficulty and playing Skyrim on my Xbox Series X. If anyone knows what I am doing wrong, please point it out. I've looked at dozens of videos and still can't figure it out. Oh and I DO NOT have ANY mods installed, not even the Unofficial Patch, as I am on a save that allows me to get achievements.
Something that may or may not be affecting anything is the amount of magic you have. I have tested whether or not you need infinite magic and you really don't. You just need enough to hold the spell on through the menu pull up.

I also tested which version of the game. I have Skyrim Special Edition on Gamepass but I also had the disc version. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

The only other thing I can think of is perhaps use the spell on an item that WASN'T in my inventory. I don't think that would make a difference, but at this point I'm willing to try anything. Sorry for the late response. I HIGHLY recommend using a part of what i described -> The crown with both xp boosts AND the lovers comfort effect. After that take your anger out on Shadowmere. Honestly its probably as good as its gonna get.
Power level another skill to level then buy 5/5 destruction skill training from Faralder at the colledge of winterhold, she's the master trainer so she can train you to 90 at least.
So i made this video playing on the Anniversary. I have tried it on oldrim and Special edition. It all works the same EXCEPT for destruction. What i see to be the trend in issues, is the lack of magic. Make sure you have infinite magic or 100% magic reduction cost.
There is a much faster way to raise Alteration.. all it takes: mage light Stand in front of the gate to the entrance of solitude Aim at the top of the mountain and cast mage light over and over

When did this happen? I recorded this video in the past week or 2. Also, as someone else mentioned, you can use bound weapons constantly around enemies. Use the mudcrab trick that I used for alteration. It'll work

@@nickpevey2471 Soul trap gets "fixed" by an unofficial patch. I am playing on Xbox with 0 mods added in. Also bound weapons do not require damage done. I tried it with the mudcrabs and was leveling up with the cast only. On top of that, conjuring allies gives you xp so long as an enemy is around. Mudcrabs help here as well

harmony spell is absolutely crazy when it comes to leveling illusion. I just go to the whiterun market and cast it like 6 times to get to 100.
I was MOST impressed by restoration. After lots of testing, i was just genuinely wow'd.
But yeah Harmony is magnificent as well.

Only summon summons will give XP for the damage dealt.

i tried the soul trap on a dead bandit, dead saber cat and a dead giant but whith everyone it said "this target resisted this spell" or something like that... is it because of the unofficial patch?
Yes it does, for me just turn off the mod and do the bug and turn on the mod after

@@BlissX99 I ment the process for leveling them up I use telekinesis and travel across the entire map and get one or two levels from it

Unfortunately, a couple of them you're only able to do in the Anniversary Edition.

Yeah! Anniversary edition has the tome chest. Unfortunately its not there in any other version of the game.

I'm trying to level up alteration with telekinesis but when I pick something up and fast travel. I'm still at the same level afterwards. Does anyone know why?

Also, as someone else mentioned, you can use bound weapons constantly around enemies. Use the mudcrab trick that I used for alteration. It'll work

@@nickpevey2471 Soul trap gets "fixed" by an unofficial patch.
I am playing on Xbox with 0 mods added in.
Also bound weapons do not require damage done. I tried it with the mudcrabs and was leveling up with the cast only. On top of that, conjuring allies gives you xp so long as an enemy is around. Mudcrabs help here as well
