- Something happened to the original video. I had to re-cut and re-upload the remaining footage that I had (Exposure Videos) from my corrupted hard drive.
My apologies to Class 85.
Part of the curriculum of the Nevada DPS Police Academy is the TASER Training Course. Cadets are taught how to use the TASER. Included in the training is exposure to the device or getting tased. The exposure training highlights its capabilities and limitations. Scenario based training is also done to show where TASER use is in the Use of Force Continuum. Students are required to set up their Taser in a cross draw or off hand draw to avoid officers mistake / mistaking the gun for their Taser (taser gun mistake).
0:46 Is shocking. Holy
I did this in DPS academy, glad I did... however I would never do it again lol.
I am in full agreement with you. Never going to do it again.
@@mikelaputt OC spray didn't really phase me, but the Taser... hell no man.
@@JPJP-gx5nm I'm the opposite. Taser was easier for me. OC was miserable for me.
@@mikelaputt That's crazy, it's different for everyone for sure.
why doesn't it travel from the person being tasered to the people hold him? are the gloves really all you need to stop it from transferring?
The electricity needs a complete circuit to work. It travels the path of least resistance, between the taser barbs. The people holding the person being tased are not part of the circuit and will not feel the effects.
The gloves are personal protective equipment. The people holding the subject are assigned the task of removing the taser barbs. The barbs break the surface of the skin and cause some bleeding.
I have a question why are they trained with taser 7s, but not hit with the taser 7 but rather the taser x26p? I am extremely curious.
They trained with the 7 because that is what they will be carrying.
They got hit with the X26 because that is what they had cartridges for training with.
AHHHHH KELLY CLARKSON
Shit I carry the x26 but got shot with the 7
I think it feels like having a birth contractions
Do we feel it when taking the epidural or not?
