We actually love this song and “Good for you” by Olivia Rodrigo is also one of Adriana’s all-time favorite songs. So the resulting collaboration is a fun and cathartic revisit to our teen angst-filled years of tying up the phone lines and waiting for the dial-up modem to finally work. If you listen carefully, you’ll hear a tribute to those young adult years of which we speak within a couple lines around the bridge. Paramore’s “Misery Business” never sounded so harmonic!

Eli's high notes and the little, "li-na li-na's" at the beginnging (well that's what I hear, so subtle yet so effective). Caesar, oh my word, so rich, such an elastic voice, superb! Layne - you are not human my man. How on earth do you do what you do? Of all the a Capella groups you are by far my favorite, just amazing. And then there was Geoff. As usual, you have the ability to make ultra-low notes sounds so effortlessly. But not only that, the little bass-riffs in between and the solid bass support is flawless. Awesome Premiere. Loved Cesar's sass and of course Adriana's voice in this. Eli and Layne are killing it. But Geoff's solo is my favorite and his hair is a character on its own. The angst is palpable in this one. It took me back to the 80s and the days of me practicing Shorthand and learning to drive my Dad's tank of a car (75 Dodge Monaco - I called it The Battlecruiser). Another great job guys/gal. 💜
On first glance you think Geoff needs to be careful that his princess hair doesn't steal the spotlight. Then he opens his mouth to sing and it's like, Oh. Nevermind. Lol.
I love how Geoff’s voice is so deep and vibrating, it’s perfect for acapelle
I'm only on a break at work right now, so I have to fight the urge to hit "replay" one more time, though I will say that I'm loving the Misery Business insert! As usual, Cesar can match anyone's energy and complement any voice and still sound distinct, Eli seems like he can sing anything put in front of him, making it look effortless when I know that it really isn't, Layne does so many things a second that it really does take 10 plays to even catch it all, and Geoff just wraps you in a perfect bassline the whole way. And, again as usual, the perfect guest for the piece is brought in. Adriana just nails this perfectly! Absolutely great!

As always, a perfect performance by all, but I have to say I am thoroughly amazed by Adriana in this one. She has some incredible power in her voice and she controls it so well. Stellar performance. Thank you for all the hard work you all put in.
I love Adriana. For her youth she is amazing. Oh heck, she’s amazing anyway. But the control she has over her voice is probably pretty unusual. I thought that the first time when she did frozen two and she was all of 15 years old. She’s 17 now and it’s a little scary to think what she’s going to be like when she hits her 20s. She is phenomenal. And she couldn’t have picked better people to sing with.

I am so glad Geoff isnt forcing a really deep note in every cover for the "THERE IT IS" effect, cause sometimes it just doesnt fit. Dont know the original but the way the song was going I couldnt have imagined it.
This song had freakin' POWER behind it. While not the main focus the percussion really drove it in even harder than just the voices ever could have.
When the beatbox fades you get the breaks, even with the same vocal intensity, but as soon as it comes back oh boy you are in for a treat. I think it is my favourite part of this production, even if it fades into the background. (Which itself is a show of quality, not overwhelming but really pressing the song forward while giving room for it.)

Adriana did such a great job emoting for this one. As I was listening to it, it occurred to me there could be a fun storyline of karma, or comeuppance if you put "Misery Business" by Paramore first in the storyline. Like if, a couple years ago, this chick stole away the boy from another girl. And then this song comes along later when he leaves her for yet another girl.
