I accidentally boiled my sage along with my water in a pot (made 6 cups of tea!) before watching this, didn't realize doing this would make it taste a bit soapy because of the high amounts of flavor released. Had no idea how potent sage was! Will follow your directions next time!

Barbara Louise , air dry the basket. Most tea shops should have glass pot, kitchen support or Amazon as last resort.

So any kind of sage is good for tea? I have the like the purple flower and the leaves do not get so ashy as the flowers when they start to blum, they are little longer then the ones I see in the videos.
