Hey viewers, if you feel vibrations in your car when accelerating and braking and even coasting down the road, this will be the right video for you. We have this 2006 VW Jetta Front Wheel drive car. When going higher speed the car stated vibrating and the steering wheel was feeling like a tire was out of balance. The faster we went the more the vibrations. So we will show you how in our case it was a bad Drive Shaft causing the terrible vibrations. We had the feeling that the car was falling apart at higher speeds.

I got a 04 745li and when I’m stopped at a light then go at green the rear bounces bad for a second then it’s hard to go from the pedal delay my parking break light is always on but I don’t know kuz it’s off

Yes, always had the impression that could be the drive shaft.
It's a Nissan Altima 02
But now, it also vibrates when braking. Even with new rotors.
You need new bushings

thanks for the video changed my tires all 4 brand new michelin. still wobbling... went and got the wheels check for bends... 2 of them slightly bent.. got them fixed still wobbling. I have to change the axels both sides. 2012 Honda Accord HFP POS CAR!!! only 150,000km on it.

This wobble/vibration problem on my 2008 F150 turned out to be a loose clamp holding the tire pressure sensor unit on the rim of one tire! Have the shop remove the tire from the wheel and check this. And then prevent it by shimming the unit with electrical tape or wire on each side to keep it from sliding around and around the rim.
My car is doing the same, when i reach 80kph it starts to vibrate the steering. When i get to 100kph it will be worse esp the driver's side. When i release the gas pedal it continues to vibrate till it goes below 80kph. My initial diagnostics abt the bad inner cv were right. I will have it changed next week. Thanks for the great video.

I like your video. Its the same withe my 2005 toyota matrix xrs vibration start at .60mph.
That’s the problem I have on my car, vibrating from 55 to 70 miles an hour and steady at around 50 mph and above 70mph. Itseems that you are a well trusted mechanic, do you have a shop here in California? Or maybe someone you know that we can trust?

I have a Subaru and just put on two snow tires in the back, I was told it could mess up the transmission but I did it anyway, I cleaned all my brakes front and back with break cleaner, they were squeaking, then after I got done and took it for a drive it started shaking really bad as soon as I got up to about 35, it shakes when I’m breaking and when accelerating but not too bad till I get up to about 36 mph, wondering if one of my weights for my tire fell off, or Mabey brake calipers getting stuck since I cleaned them, I have no idea what it is, it was driving perfect before this
I didn’t do so well. I took it to AAA with an order to balance the wheels but said that I wasn’t sure why the car vibrated at higher speed . So I was charged for diagnostic for 2 hours and balancing each wheel (x4). It might have been that a balancing weight fell off one wheel, but had to pay for four.

Also, why is he holding the camera during the second test drive when you can clearly see some vibrations?
The most common can be Engine or Gear Mount/Foundation.
Should be replaced all at once if vibrations occurs from the Driving Seat Compartment.
But while accelerating it goes off.
This happens when the ignition is on and car is not moving.

Will a rear component be responsible for the same symptoms?

Good job! I got similar problems on accelerating but, only for a while between 1700-2000 RPM .. the car is Mondeo mk4 2.0 tdci... Could it be same issue?

I had problems when braking going toward my car made a clunk noise on the front right it was bothering me very much so my mechanic lift up my car and it was four loose nuts that support the plates where lower arm control rest.When swap my engine they didn't tight these nuts to their right specs.

My 2010 avalon doing same from 35 to 45 its like rhe tires missing some parts on the road.. the drive shaft pretty tight wen i check it .. it's OK at 50 to 60 . Or wen i use cruse control. 70 it's start shaking bad again..
My car vibrates around 70 to 80mph but only when giving gas, holding speed or letting the gas go reduces the shaking significantly. The tires have been balanced. What could it be at this point. The wheels are also good.

I have a weird noise that happens on the right wheel while driving but I am unable to indicate the problem. It's almost as if theirs a loose piece in the inner part of the wheels.

Sometimes its transmission bearings or entire bearing housing and the only way to fix it is to change entire transmission..
On my Chevy impala i can grab axle and wiggle it up down with my hand so when i drive the car is almost jumping
My wheels are shimmy too..
New rotors bearings tie rods control arms EVERYTHING you could possibly name related to suspension and sadly its inside the transmission , bearings are good no noise just lots of play like 1cm up and down like the cv axle is not even plugged in but it is
I recently brought an Audi A4 b6 avant 1.9tdi cvt.
There’s continuous vibration when it’s in park, drive, neutral and reverse and the only time it would go away is if I put the car in neutral while am driving. The vibration gets louder at higher rpm.
The other issue I notice, after while of driving hard and if I switch the car off and turn it back on it would crank up straight away I have to crank few times.
If anyone had any issue like this please let me know how you managed to resolve this issue.
I have a 2007 VW rabbit with 110k never had this issue yet I know someone with the same car as mine with 190k never had a issue yet eighther VW has been a great car so far I've had it for 10 years now!
Hi, I have skoda superb mk3 2018 DQ381 7 speed DSG gearbox. When I start to car coming vibration and little bit noise. Car stay P mode. Doesn't running. When car is hot vibration stop. I drive another's car no any vibration... thanks 😊

hi do you know what causes the vibrations in the gas pedal. it only happens when accelerating. i could feel slight humming/vibrations through the pedal. its like cellphone vibration, its only in gas pedal, no where else. mitsubishi outlander awd 2003

I have a similar problem, my car vibrates when accelerating BUT it only happens when the speed is from 70 to 80km/h range. Is that still due to the driveshaft? Or is it other problems? What should I check first
if the tires are balanced
Yup. First place to look. But, in general, motor mounts usually produce vibration when idling engine is put in drive (auto. trans.) and smooths out when changed to neutral.
check and see if there is any okay in the shaft and that will give you your answer
Check your tire balance it might be unbalanced if it vibrates at high speeds
You might have a problem with the shock mounts. I had the same issue
I had 2 front springs fitted and get a metallic grinding when on uneven roads. It's been back to the garage several times, new drop links, os rear wishbone bush, bottoms balll joints and springs but still getting the funny noise.
Could it be possible something was disturbed while fitting springs or possibly the sturt mounts/bearings?
When the noise happens it sounds like it's coming from the front of the car.

hi I just watched your video. my Nissan Sentra 2002 has vibrating problem during hot day only. I took my car in garage but didn't get any problem and advise me to continue to drive. I am worried during hot day. if I drive highway go above 80 km/h its start vibrate. I checked engine coolant . all in good condition. during acceleration not speeding up and start vibrate whole body and steering too. could you tell me what would be reason for this. thank you in advance
Is a transfer case problem. My hyundai santa fe do the same in 20 to 40 mph.... in high speed stop shake or when i come off my accelerator.
Could that give you some moove even when you switch from drive to reverse and viceversa ? Or should i look at engine mount then ?
More likely an engine mount.

I've replaced inner cv on my audi A3 but still experiencing terrible vibration when driving over 50km/h , other things changed are rear shocks, wheel bearings, new set of tyres, small control arm bushes. What could possibly be the problem?

Darren Pinto I have. 2013 civic si that had bad clicking sound from bad axles. Waited for a while to replace as they were still good. afterward they got really bad. I decided to replaced them. Bought some knock off aftermarket axles I noticed vibration coming from my driver side. I was like, wtf is this. Took out axle to get an exchange. Installed new one same thing. Wtf. So tomorrow I’m taking my OEM axles to get rebuilt and just use those as they were find before those stupid aftermarket axles cane along.

@@mrincredible2330 but in my case the whole car vibrates between 20 n 30 only. Some balancing issue I suppose.
I need to ask one thing i got my car refix of new tensioner bearing and belt, and after that the the garage professional said the viberation inside car can be removed only have to change 4mounting pcs.
But i told him that before replacement when orginal part was fixed their was no veiberation from inside car while driving but after fixing new one it started viberating.
Before no noise but after why it created mounting.
Any fixing issue or they were not professional.

I had both joints replaced. The vibration was lessened but there is still some vibration specially when I reach 80 kms/hr. It's really annoying. Any advise would greatly be appreciated

So what cause the knocking at low speed and no knocking at high speed?
My 2005 VW beetle automatic Shudders only on takeoff and cin=iming to a stop. I have replaced dogbone, transmission mount and engine mount, plugs, wires and coil pack. After reaching 20mph the beetle runs great, no shaking, no vibration, no shudder. Any idea? ahve used your videos to fix other issues. thanks

@@brandonjohnson48 I Have not resolved. I have replaced everything that could cause it. Once I get speed up all is well. It's just when accelerating. I have someone that is going to check it for me once I heal from my knee and hip replacement. Will post fix. thanks

I cant afford to get what ever it It's fixed. So its been parked up for a month! As I don't want to drive it in case I'm causing more damage. in about a month I should have money to sort it. If you replace one it's not gonna work both side needs to be replace in order to get the bad drive shaft go away.

Think i got a few things going on...shaking is worse when i let off of the gas pedal and now it started clicking when i turn. Mostly to the right.
Sam A engine mount tran mount Check first. Check bushings for suspension parts such as minor things like ball joint cv inner joints etc. If everything checks get ur tires balanced and ur alignment done

Dzunani Mikhari warped rotors if it's shaking when you press the brakes. Shaking may due to needing wheel balanced
Hi I get a vibration coming from my clutch pedal when I take it out of gear it's a Audi a4 should I check?
My deisel vw golf mk5 was doing the same thing, as it changed gear it juddered, go up a slight hill and it juddered. We found if you drove it in sports gear at 40kmh for about 100m then back into drive it helped a lot but did not solve the problem for too long. Then a very clever mechanic, told us to change the injectors, so we changed injectors 2 & 3. problem solved. She now drives like a new car. Hope this helps.
