- Does Packing and moving make you cringe? Us too! The move from Illinois to Missouri is just around the corner! Packing and moving is very stressful, we have done it many times before and with a large family. We typically did it ourself, but this time we threw in the white flag and are eliciting the help from a locally operated moving company "The Movers" to hep us with some of this large homestead. They will be helping with the house while Joe and I tackle the garage and barn in the near future. Today is just day 1 but they are making great progress already! Stay tuned to see the boxes pile up and another step closer.

Moving can be so bittersweet! I’m always in “move” mode. Constantly cleaning out stuff and organizing because the day that comes when I want to move I want it to go as fast as possible!
Very true, it can't go fast enough at times! But we knew it would be uphill much of the way! Thank you
We had a big moving company come in and they were still loading at midnight. I sat in my truck shining my headlights I'm their trailer so they could see. We stayed at a motel the night before but the cats were in the house by themselves. I had to go to work so I could check out for the last time. Then the long drive to Florida. The movers broke quite a few things.
Well we are knee deep now! They seem like they take great care to pack everything with padding! I have no doubt it will be a good success after seeing them operate the last few days. It's a very small family owned company

Yes we have to pay the bill today! But money well spent! They will set everything up at the MO house the way they moved it!! Wow, it's coming fast!
