I bought one , in July, probably 10 thousand though it , no problems, the gun is beautiful, fit and finish are very nice, my favorite part is the pistol grip, which is not what is it this video, full curve, nice palm swell, adjustable comb, although zero adjustment fits me wonderfully. The tapered rib points great, the factory chokes were tight, but they sent me two extra sets(5 ea.)flush, and extended that are standard dimensions. Time will tellI know, but I love this gun, wayyyy better than my barrel heavy browning.
Here in the USA one can procure an SPZ ME at any time at Academy for $430, and there are usually a few sale events throughout the year when they have them knocked down to $400. Comparing to the advertised prices in the UK, I'd guess the base Pro model to go for about $1300 if Academy picks it up. That would tempting indeed!
I personally think that Yildiz are the best value for money guns on the market today, bar none. We have five of them within the family both in 20 and 12 bores. (Game and Clays) My son also won the West Midlands Automatic Ball Trap championship with his Yildiz Pro Trap with a 96/100. A lot of gun for the money.
Mx12 clone bigtime, they did a good job, looks great- but at that price point you have some serious guns on offer, not sure that's a smart move to try enter that end of market
Looking at the comments on your video so far I get the feeling there is a fair amount of dislike of Turkish guns. Me personally? I go to the shop and I try for size what I can afford. I have a Hatsan for rough shooting, a Caesar Guerini "safe queen" that's never been shot, a couple of Wingmasters' (just because), a Browning 525 for Clays and various other bits and bobs. At no time have I looked at something and said "I don't like that because the Italians made it", or the Japanese or anyone else. Does it fit you?Does it fit your intended purpose? Is it in your price range? Will it stand the test of time?In the case of this shotgun, I think it will. Oh, and the old Hatsan semi has seen five years of abuse and is still going strong....
I wanted to try one at last year's NSS and none were available to buy/try! I can't wait to see how you go with the adj one. Would you think it has the value to do a restocking?
Four of the issues you had that made it less than perfect are EXACTLY what I would prefer as a shooter with a smaller stature to yourself. So, maybe for me it IS perfect.
Probably for me too. At 5' 7" and of chunky stature my Browning 525 Sporter with its 32" barrels is a gurt lump and slow to heave up onto fast birds. One of these might be just the job.
The turkish Dickinson box lock puts other makers to shame for the price. Would be nice if you could do a review on their 28g, such as their estate model.
I recently bought a pro trap version of that gun, and as i've had it a while i noticed some, some would say "minor" quality control issues that will surely decrease the lifetime of this shotgun. But cocrats of making me wanna buy one cuz now i'm stuck with it.XD

Should be the same as an MX8, depress ejector about half way by hand until that small round insert that holds it in place is visible in groove the ejector rides in. At that time remove the round insert and the ejector should slide out.
@TGS Outdoors. Though you didn’t say in the video, at 6:42-6:55 it looks like the Pro has replaceable trunnions that use hex or torx tool (ala Beretta 680 series). Is that the case, or are they identical to a Perazzi MX-12?
