You brought back some wonderful memories for me. My boyfriend had one with same green color when we dated. He traded it for a 1956 Chevy 2dr hardtop.
We were married for 47 years before he passed in 2018.
Love the beautiful green paint, cool wheels and awesome split rear window. Classic Cool Ride!
that air you were talking about coming threw the windows was probably that back passenger side window that has the big broken corner at the top that you showed on the walk around but didnt say anything about
They also have put ford engines in chevys so it's no big deal they all break down at sometime
Very nice cars, & I also respect how meticulous you are with your test drives. And you always have something that catches the eye. Good job.
From what I can see somebody put a lot of money and effort into this vehicle......much more than the asking price. Nice looking ride.
Nice car. One of my favorites.
how about a test drive for the 55 or 56 light blue bel air parking facing the main street.
The inside Door handles, are PERFECTLY functional. That's a natural movement for them, all the way down they lock, in the middle is unlocked, and to " click" all the way up, is to open. That's Henry safe for your all new 1940 Ford 2door sedan or Tudor sedan. I had the same car and set up, those road down south must be amazingly smooth. Love the way this car looks and stands, stock upholstery with some color and new old stock gauges would send this car!
P.s. it's the deluxe model, you can ask more money,,, son,,,
Looks great, love the interior. Looks fun.
My understanding is that back in the day the modern Ford oil pan had it sump on the other end of the motor so the wouldn’t fit directly in the old Ford frame/ engine bay. But the small block Chevy dropped it with no problems. Either way gorgeous ride sounds amazing.
@@murraywarkentin6592 that true too
Very nice 1940. Ford thanks. Nick.
That is a sweet ride and I love the nice interior and the running boards !!
Thank you very much!
I love those 1940 Fords! Don't worry Nick, I'm a Jeep guy, but I would wave to you too. Lol...👋
Right on!
Hot Damn now that is a RIDE !!!! I Love that color and the engine is purring like a kitten !!! I would definitely take this one out on a road trip !!!! Now that's what I'm talking about !!!! 💯🇺🇸🦅🗽⚔️🔥👍⚡
Some of the cars you guys get makes me wonder about the previous owners, lol!! Like why would you part with such a beautiful car?
Very beautiful perfect looking car beautiful perfect colour thanks Nick have a very nice weekend mate
looks good, from very farrrrrr, Man its oK. we all make mistakes.
Nice car but it needs to be totally stripped and redone. The body work and paint was poorly done. It could be made to be a lot nicer than it is. It's just going to take time and money to do it right but it has potential. A great project.
I really love that car man haha good deal
I love it! I would buy it today if I could.
Thanks Nick for another awesome video thumbs up. I measure the success of a video bye how strong I want to buy the car and I would love to have this car if the finances permitted :-) Keep up the good work!
Go for it! lol Thanks for watching
Nick does a great job, nice walk around and noticing flaws. Great description while driving car.
You sound so much like Street Speed 717!
color is very nice
OMG SO BEAUTIFUL...
The suspension and frame mounts need to be updated. There's too much stress being applied to the body. I would add some coil overs in the rear. This is a very nice sight, it's not too often you spot one of these.
Bad A** Very Cool!
Stunning 40 Ford sedan hot rod but I called those humpback cars still sweet luv 12:09 pretty easy way to open that small block Chevy sound smooth when u did test drive Nick wish I had 2nd storage garage right about now ohh well there also be more.
Wow 😮
nO Engine startup sounds - man how you gunna do us like that. Beep Beep
👍😎
the blonde needs a walk around video too lol. check the underside and make sure it looks good
🏡🏡🏡🏡 so cute green
Have you ever broke down on a test drive
I’d lose the Chevy valve covers but everything else about this car is gorgeous! I don’t mind Chevy engines in Ford bodies as long as it’s not plainly obvious so that’s the only thing I’d change if it were my car 👌🏻
When u see a Chevy engine dressed in any form it’s obvious.
That's the only thing i DON"T like about the car. Their are alot better FOMOCO engines that are a much better fit than a worn out out dated piece of gm crap that just makes me want to PUKE!!! Fords Rule, Chuvies JUNK!!!
@@murraywarkentin6592 thank you. I’m still a novice car enthusiast so my knowledge may not be up to speed with some of the more experienced people. Just a 20 year old who happens to have passion for old cars
@@Nebulasecura don’t be too thankful to Murray. Ford parts aren’t much more and are very competitive in price. A big reason why people put small block Chevy’s in Fords is partly due to history and nostalgia. Back in 1955 Chevy started to produce factory V8 “overhead valve” engines, known as the SBC. Ford was still using flatheads which couldn’t produce the power of the SBC.
@@guardinoinc.7490 Ford was building the Y block motors starting in 1952 with the 317 motors in the Lincolns and Mercury.s and the Fords got the 239 and 272 in 1954, so Ford still beat them to the punch.
Very Good!... #57 ✝ {9-7-2022}
Man that door handel bugs mme, and thouse fake things
Sedan
Funny doesn’t look like a forty to me
itsa chevy pretending 2 b a ford, rip that 🤢🤮🤮🤮 'motor' out hb
@@murraywarkentin6592 maybe i KNOW that & just HATE chevy engines ....especially in non chevy cars 🤔 hb
