Just out of curiosity, have you guys hit the OC Fair since you're so close? BTW, I've been to Tokyo once and I was amazed that 7-Eleven had such a huge variety of food to choose from (even healthy) vs the US. Thx for your videos!
This is the first Asian market I have been to and I have wanted to go for along time because I like to cook at home. Just felt a little intimated because I do not speak or read Japanese! But I never have sheyed away from trying. The freshness just is off the charts. The Wasabi root is something I would definitely want. Thanks you guys!❤
There is also another Japanese store down the street called Seiwa Market, but they don't have as big a selection as Tokyo Central like fresh fish, meat, sushi or bento. Be advised if you do go to the Costa Mesa Tokyo Central that parking can be a real problem during lunch hours and on the weekends. So be prepared to drive around and around waiting for an open space if you go during those times.
I love the onigiri! I had a co-worker ( from the Philipinnes) order the packaging and make hers with spam. It was cool to see another version! Great Content guys! Can't wait for the next one.
I love the onigiri packaging, but the place I get them from in my part of the mid-west puts a big English ingredients sticker right on top of the pull tab. Only half the time I get them does the system work correctly and I extricate my perfect onigiri.

@@DerekandCatherine We thank You Derek and Catherine! Love your gracious, gentle and classy ambience. So genuine good guys!
Like how they have the seafood wrapped up instead of on ice and you can grab and go.

Yesss the Grocery Store
I used to live less than a mile from there. I was there many times.
Cool!
There’s nothing like this up in the TC. There are some good Asian markets, but I haven’t seen a Japanese. Maybe in Minneapolis somewhere 👌
Es gibt VariationenSoja Soße von verschiedenen Ländern!!😊
Wow...lots of choices....low on 💰. What happened to the Japanese curry mixes??😯
good food, but most is too pricy for me.
Definantly made in China this episode.
