Yeah I think you're not wrong. Its hard to light a living tree on fire. Sometimes it may catch fire if theres enough of fire projectiles but its gonna go out fast.
The following words were engraved on the gold-plated battlefield commemorative plaque: Trees are pretty moist, pretty moist. - Pixelated Apollo (3:45) :P
That initial cav charge at 4:15 was super janky. A full unit of cav charging an unbraced unit of fusiliers completely halted for no reason, then shot to bits. It should have been devastating!
Feels like post apocalypse ? Yes, sounds right because it's near Paris

I see the words Pike & Shot + Medieval Kingdoms 1212, plus the participation of the Kingdom of Castile, the Kingdom of Aragon or Spain in general and I know that it will be an excellent battle (it's like watching NTW3 with Napoleonic France, it's a sign that it will be a great game). However, the battle resolution was so fast that it's as if we had seen a replay of Shogun 2, rather than an Attila MOD (from Rome 2 onwards, the battles became longer). I don't think that the army used by the Holy Roman Empire player is more professional, but rather that the late units of the Spanish factions in MOD 1212 (as in Medieval 2), are more profitable in quality and price if we compare them. Casius did a perfect job in the way he placed the troops, quite close to how the Great Captain's Coronelias were used in the Italian Wars and that charge destroyed by the shot of the Castilian arquebusiers, gave me vibes of the Battle of Cerignola in 1503. XD
How does your Attila run so well, I have 32gb of RAM with an Intel Core 9 Ultra & RTX 4070 and I still lag like crazy, even when using the cores workaround
It's kind of random. I use a gtx 1050ti, a years old processor, and have never reapplied thermal paste. Atilla runs great for me though it's on mostly medium settings.
Depends what tree, for example birch tree bark is really flammable. Also tree sap is pretty flammable. But yeah a canon ball would not light a tree on fire as there is no explosive charge.
would love this game so much more if the battle maps weren't all different directions of 15 degree slope. there's never any interesting terrain to play around like in shogun or napoleon
need a totalwar about pike and shot
been saying this for years man
@@crook7493 aint gonna happening they gonna make more Warhammer title

Nah the new games are all gonna be Arcady single entity unit spam, mission-based, no factions only character games from now on
I'm working on something in that era.
Amazing Battle. Love the Pike and Shot Era. The Costumes, the tactics and the general esthetic of it all! It's glorious!

What a potential this game has! Just imagine for a second what we could have if only CA and SEGA listened to us
Not usually a fan of the short videos, however I’m liking this one brother
Medieval Kingdoms kingdoms should have an update about the new world
I love this mod and the scenario!
The cannonballs I imagined as a kid lit everything on fire
They blew up on impact Everytime in my childhood😂

Asking the real questions.
What do you mean by the "cores workaround"?

@Chadrick2 It does, but it also has loads of "Denglish", which is super obnoxious, at least to me. :(

Puke and shot in 1212?
what is the name of the game?
I'm a simple man. If I see the glory of Spain, then I click on the like button.
The same as me and what came to my mind immediately after reading Pike & shot was: Coronelias or Tercios in action. 😍😍😍🗡🗡🗡
So no more mirkwood elves? Its been 2 weeks
👍
Trees are moist
Artillery fire is the best thing to wake up to in the morning
Then the smell of napalm?

pike units in a forest tho...
That looks like tercio.
I love trees in real life I hate them in TW games. Trees must be destructable at least. A cannon ball can not be stopped by a tiny branch.
Am I the only one seeing Asmongold LOGO at the bottom left corner of the screen!!😅 Or is my youtube bugged out
Ahhh i thought it is another NTW3 video 😢

Wish the mod team would release the late campaign for the mod
