I have out in my own loc extentions but it's still semi fuzzy...is that normal or do you think it's the kind of hair I'm using? I definitely will be getting a bundle from you next time.

Are you eventually able to cut off the loc extensions once your hair fully locs, and gets to a length you want of your own hair growing out? It that going to mess up your natural locs? My sister is wanting to get extensions done because she doesn’t want to go through ‘awkward’ stage, but I think it defeats the purpose of getting locs??? We’re both about to start our loc journey in Oct.
Sartorially Black you can absolutely cut them off once you have reached your goal. It defeats the purpose for some and for others it’s a ‘head start’ I guess. Either way your natural hair will still have to go through the locking process.

Greetings and Happy New Year to you DXLYN........I re-did my locs by way of inter-loc my own hair with real afro hair, then followed up with the silking method to the size of my pinky finger. It all was done in a block grid pattern done to my shoulder length, however I am thinking to have the locs professionally crochet needle method done on the full head of locs to re-enforce each loc or just let them do there thing and marry.
My hair is a bit longer than her’s and other stylists I’ve looked at have put it in their rules that if your hair is long they’d cut it for loc extensions. I do not want to cut my hair, that’s the whole point of me getting locs 😭 I really want to come to you to get my locs done. Do you require the same cutting?

AKIYIAKELLY the bigger is .75 I prefer this one but if you are careful it can hook your skin. This is why some others will prefer the smaller.
