I never understood why people were so offended by loc extensions. Its still a journey I love them either way, I just am not able to do the awkward phase like with the big chop, I hated it for me. I am getting loc ext soon. Thats my preference. Anyway, you do beautiful work. Absolutely beautiful ❤️😍 thank you.🙏

I’ve taken to combining a few locks. I snip the two headed dragons and attach the cut loc to a shorter loc. It is kind of fun finding a matching loc ans attaching them. I did my first one so well I kept having to find it! It was weirdly fun.
Please tell me what kind of hair you are using (brand name and type of hair). Most people use a type of hair that looks so stiff and frankly looks synthetic. I am attaching loc extensions to fix my bangs that I cut a year ago. ❤ Your loc extensions looks like actual previously grown hair!!!! Please tell me what kind you used so I can find it. Thank you!

I’m so happy you make these videos. I have a whole row of loose hair in the back but no locks and whenever I attach locs they come off sometimes so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but ima keep tying and maybe use a mirror to see what I’m doing back there. Wish you were in Texas girl!

Love this tutorial :) My boyfriend and I are in the military and he cant have locs. He use to before joining and he misses them. So I wanna learn how to do this so that when we go on vacation he can have the hair he wants :)

I am just trying to figure out what's the minimum length of hair, in order to get loc extensions. I had a high-top fade for several years and now I am growing out the sides and the back of my head. Right now, there's 2 1/2 inches of growth. Long enough to flat twist. But I am unsure if I could start the lock extensions now.

With the crotchet needle just go back and forward, but when do you roll with your fingers? Sometimes it looks like your rolling then again it looks like your just holding the hair while crotcheting

Wash daily with. Head and shoulders itch / t gel and or acv rinse/ blow dry then moisturize scalp with Jamaican mango and lime itch spray daily

How many packs of the Afro bulk hair do you used to make 80+ locs?
4 or 5 bundles ..bundles usually make between 15-20 locs..you also have to consider size and length when purchasing your bulk hair

If you already have dreads and you've been growing with them now for 2 and 1/2 years but you want them to be a little smaller is there anyway you can do that with extension box to make them look fuller

Do your loc extension size include the loose part? For example if I wanted to order 10 inch locs, would the loose part be included in the inch#? I ordered a 16 Inc loc before from a popular vendor and it was 13 inches and 1/2 inch loose. I questioned them and they said it's due to shrinkage 🤬😡
Lol no it’s the instant locked part that is measured. The loose hair is extra to help with attachment.

I go back and forth. Smaller the loc the smaller the needle I use
