@@codycordill7057 Yeah it all depends. The 5.4s with cam phasers were hit or miss. Some worked fine but a huge number of them had horrible issues. I think the 7.3 liter is hands down fords most reliable engine but it’s also diesel. The 4.9L 300 I6 is another really good engine but neither of those engines came factory in the 2004-2008 F-150.
Crazy how a rusted frame 04 f150 from Iowa looked very similar to this.
Hahhhh you seen his video too?😂
despite how bad these trucks are I’m surprised it still fired up after getting hit by a grand prix
Why removal of the headlights and tail lights in this test?
Cause it’s already known that they’ll just break and provide no structural support so it’s just less debris to clean up, at least that’s my guess
Older Crash Test Ford F-150 4 DR on Jan 6 2004
2004 to 2008 worst trucks ford ever made cam phazers transmission falling out of overdrive junk i have one somebody elses problemm i got for cheap
The 3 valve 5.4 is shit not the 2 valve 5.4L or 4.6L. The 2 valve 4.6 V8 is one of fords most reliable engines while being kinda underpowered.
My 04 with the 3v 5.4 has almost 300k miles on it with no issues and no major work done to it
@@NateDawgg420 I’d say the Ford 300 i6 is the most reliable from my experience
