Scarra seems like he's in a super natural environment here, really nice to see this type of energy
KOBE is the most beloved caster in the English-speaking League of legends world. He's always been the one guy we can count on for boundless enthusiasm, great insights, and to hold it down for NA when even other NA casters seem biased in favor of other regions.
KOBE is still my top fav but recent years ive also grown unto Azeal. I like how they are both articulate and they call out things.
yeah kobe has always been the goat caster, tbh i only watch doms content on league now other than worlds now though the man says things how it is and is actually funny - he has no ratings for na 😂
This podcast felt like a treat for the long time League fan. It is always a pleasure hearing Scarra talk about League retrospectively and to have Yvonne and Kobe here to continue the conversation made this episode especially enjoyable
Actually insane to remember Dignitas times... The quality of gameplay has increased so much, players have come and gone, teams created and disbanded, but some people remain and are still legendary like Kobe, gotta appreciate those people man

I watched RNG vs T1 yesterday, and I’m not a League fan at all, I know nothing of the game but I have heard of Faker, and because of him I watched rooting for T1 to win! And they did 🎉 Looking forward to their other games and hopefully seeing them win it all 🏆

It’s amazing to see them talk about a whole community that I missed out on. I really wish I was able to watch these guys in their debuts but I was too young to even understand.
This was such a fun podcast, i just started playing league a year or 2 ago and love hearing the history of it.
Say what you will about League now, that game brought a lot of people/content creators together. Love to still see legendary folks from the scene!

17:55 I'm a senior in high school and me and my friends play valorant with my statistics teacher. I was literally asking him about the work I was doing for his class in between rounds and he was answering my questions and carrying at the same time.
I never played League, but I love this podcast because of how hyped and enthusiastic all three of them are about talking about it. Especially Scarra, he seems so at home :)

I'll say, in NY there was a pizza place I went to that had the best pepperonis on any pizza I've ever had. Otherwise...the rest of the pizza was mid. The pepperonis curled up and were roasted so perfectly and they were smaller and had so many of them. They crunched on their own and it really was some of the best toppings on anything that I've ever had. New York though, like I sort of hated a bunch of stuff, but some good touristy stuff was amazing.

A minor piece of feedback - we gotta have Scarra start breathing through his nose while he's on mic. Listening to him gasping for air through his mouth like he's just run a 40km marathon is distracting when I'm also trying to make out what other people are saying through it. It's not a dealbreaker, but it definitely affected my enjoyment of the content and I only want the best for the podcast.

i love these three, its a funny combination
I remember Woong of Azubu Frost cheating against TSM but a lot of people also forget that TSM, specifically Dyrus, did the exact same thing during that same series and they did not get penalized for it. I also remember how a lot of people thought that Woong cheating somehow affected TSM's chances of winning when in reality, they did not have a chance at winning from the get go because they were completely outclassed by Azubu Frost in every area of the game. TSM would have lost regardless of Woong cheating and Azubu Frost did not need to cheat because they were already way better than their opponent. IIRC, the games where the "cheating" happened were both restarted and the teams played a best of 3 to see who moved on, which ended with Azubu Frost sweeping TSM 2-0 (without any cheating occurring) to move to the next round.
Aaaah. League. Good times. As a support main I have fun all the time tbh.

Ive never played touched or even even remotely interested in league. Idk maybe it’s a thing that here in NA doesn’t seem like a cool thing but it’s nice seeing these guys excited for it.

Man... i have been consistently playing League since Season 4, finally reached Diamond after 8 seasons of playing 4 months ago, i just kinda stop, only playing one games per week to stop the rank decay, but this Worlds have brought out the inner League addict inside me again, i thought the GAM vs TES game (im a Vietnamese so i was screaming like a maniac) was the best until the 3 BO5 series last week... can't wait for the Semis, im voting for T1 and DRX (even tho GenG is seed #1, i still need to see Deft in the finals before quitting League)

Yea the keyword banning system on league is really white and black, no grey area, it'll just ban you for saying anything like "stop raping my lane" or etc
Jayce is never meta, he isn't a tank and he is a top laner, so he see's almost no play in NA LCS. Then worlds comes around and Jayce is like the strongest pick in the game, and NA barely ever realizes it. Idk if he's popular in Korea year round, but this champion is such fucking bullshit that even though he is not the desired class of a top laner, he still ends up being the best pick.
This champion needs to be nerfed, he's needed nerfs since the start and he never gets the nerfs he needs because his popularity just fades randomly.
