As soon as I heard this I wasn't surprise. I mean come on, the cops shot up 2 vehicles injuring 3 people without stopping them or at least seeing if they were Dorner just because they thought he was in the vehicle.

Because they wanted to label Dorner out. Dorner was against LAPD curroption, so LAPD labeled him evil and never intended to take him alive because he would talk. They didn't want him to talk.
Why not lie about it? That's all they do and exactly the reason why Dorner did what he did.
These coked up cops even shot at innocent people in their car. They are reckless and do not care about the lives of you and your loved ones bc of a God like complex so he gave them an experience of what it feels like to fear for their own safety and that of the people they care about.
