RIP to those ppl. But those who haven’t fallen Richard Dean Anderson left because missed being with his family. Now he’s a lot happier now. I don’t know who said it: Hollywood isn’t the same anymore. Screenwriters weren’t getting paid enough. While the actors were getting paid more. End Quote. These days: The political landscape is totally insane. Hollywood has gone to hell. International has too. International effect’s entertainment too. It’s bizarro world.
Each of these people that appeared in Stargate were memorable, like the first 2, only appeared like 2/3 times within 10 years but you never forgot them, even if you were to never watch stargate for 10 or more years, you would immediately remember them and whom they were in the episode. Rest in Peace to all of them.
I miss Don Davis the most he was such a great guy, and with such a congenial attitude. Since Richard Anderson believed in having fun on the set, Don loved how the crew embraced this philosophy.
I think that in most long running tv shows, the actors become very close, almost like a family. Teryl Rothery, who played Dr Janet Fraiser is always moved to tears whenever she is asked for her favourite memories re Don. When they killed off Janet it not only left Teryl and the fans devastated, but also Don, who commented that "it just wasnt the same after that", and hatstened his departure from the show.
Did you say "MOST of the actors in Stargate are no longer in this world?" Though we have lost some great actors and people I would argue that the VAST majority of the ACTORS/ACTRESSES in this series are still alive and kicking (as of 2022). Of course 30 years from now that won't be the case, but as of NOW, to say that MOST of the actors are dead is a weird thing to say.
In real life Don S. Davis had been a lieutenant in the US Army during the Vietnam war however he was stationed in South Korea, so he knew how to play an officer in the show.
Thank you for providing us this valuable information. We (all the fans) loved these characters, and we don't necessarily know what the actors became. Very sad to learn about all these losses ...
We need another Stargate show 😭. I'm constantly rewatching all of them. It blows SGA ended sooner than it should've - ending was rushed, and SGU got canceled after 2 seasons. Wasn't a huge SGU fan until end of S1. Stargate SG1 was the only show with a true ending that made me feel satisfied 😌
They don’t make actor like these any more. All new actors are woke an brainwashed. Why only watch old tv an movies now. All new shows are lost their magic
The actor number 5 that played Martin he had an occurring rule on Hawaii Five-O this other TV series that was based in New York City I believe was called White Collar
This was an interesting video but I found the sound mixing distracting. The difference in volume between the narration and the much lower volume of the clips makes it hard to concentrate on anything else.
Thank you for assembling this collection of much loved actors who have passed. I can't tell when you made this but you missed the great Canadian actor Maury Chaykin who died on his birthday in 2010 at the age of 61. There seems to be a vast difference in audio between your speaking voice and that of the clips you show.
Each of these are major actors in the series an most made huge contributions onscrren but together they hardly constitute "most" of the cast. Stretching over a decade even the number of passed isn't even significant. Not to take away from the significance of the passed but it IS a true statement an observation
These people deserve better than a cameo voice over in recognition to their ties and contribution to a remarkable sci-fi series. This could have been done much better.
My gosh this just showed up on my feed , It brought a tear to my eye seeing Don , he was my neighbor and an absolute prince of a gentlemen . I remember the day well as he took the dogs for a walk and never came home . Rest in peace bud .. till we meet again , I will bring the beer .
Argenziano -- /ahr-jen-tsee-ah-noh/ It's Italian or Sicilian. It means someone from, or who is, silver (argent). Compare Argentina, Argentine, basically the same thing.
I used to tell people general Hammond and Jacob Carter how the TV show played they that and happen in real life and how one episode with general Hammond when they say he died of a heart attack and Sean Jacob Carter in the hospital with cancer and it's crazy how they both died of what they was acting to do is sad how their Faith was sealed
This was painful to watch, having to keep turning my volume up to hear background then immediately turn it down when commentator who's volume was obnoxiously loud started playing again.
Maybe you should make the headline to your next video, “Top 10 things you didn’t see in the new Stargate trailer.“ The fact that there isn’t a new Stargate trailer shouldn’t bother you much, I’m sure you can cobble together plenty of scenes from 15 years of television. Ooh! How about , “ Counterpart gets third, fourth and fifth season.“ I bet that will bring ‘em running. And, you know, screw ‘em if they can’t take a joke, right?
G-d...is this guy mispronouncing the name of Dom DeLuise! Apparently, he never saw him perform in anything but this show. Too bad as he was a great comedian...
You are trading on honored, sacred dead flesh. Of actors you probably like. There’s no doubt that you are dealing in the flesh of dead actors to get clicks. That really doesn’t bother you at all?
Rest in peace, Hammond of Texas.
Rest in peace, Selmak of the Tok'ra
RIP
Hammond of Texas has fallen in battle. :-(
RIP to those ppl. But those who haven’t fallen Richard Dean Anderson left because missed being with his family. Now he’s a lot happier now.

@🍄 SHAMAN 2018-96🍄
I’m not American but I am in agreement with that.
It is very memorable and much better than what’s on air now..
Well said.
Cliff Simon was a great actor who played a great villain. He really knew how to pick up the Ba'al and run with it. 😁
They didn't die, they ascended.
I miss Don Davis the most he was such a great guy, and with such a congenial attitude. Since Richard Anderson believed in having fun on the set, Don loved how the crew embraced this philosophy.
Don Davis was awesome. He had an aura about him which made Hammond such as solid character.

Click bait, hey. That's why you can never "Like and Subscribe" to BS. 👊
I know it's bad but when it showed that Baal's actor passed, my first thought was they finally got him. Then I thought maybe he was just a clone
I was thinking the same thing they finally got the last Baal
@@cursed1083 Or DID they? Great actor, great villain - he was a bad guy, but he was clearly having fun with it. :)
RIP Selmac, Hamond of Texas, and Ba'al
In real life Don S. Davis had been a lieutenant in the US Army during the Vietnam war however he was stationed in South Korea, so he knew how to play an officer in the show.
Didn't know Cliff simon had passed. Dom deluise was brilliant. He was in blazing saddles also as the director filming a musical.
Dom DeLuise 3 sons were all connected to Stargate SG1. All acted in episodes and Peter directed many episodes.
History of the world, Part 1.
Dom deluise was super funny as the Roman emperor Caesar. "Kill heeeem" . Lol
Legends, every single one of them. They will all be missed.
Hammond was an excellent character and actor, was very sad to hear he died
This show was exactly what sci fi should be and it worked beautifully.
Thank you for providing us this valuable information. We (all the fans) loved these characters, and we don't necessarily know what the actors became. Very sad to learn about all these losses ...

Agree.
Also 2000s was kinda Golden Age legit.
Don Davis also appeared in a couple of MacGyver episodes.
I understand Don Davis actually started out as a double for well-known actor Dana Elcar, one of the leads on MacGyver.
@@7thsealord888 While I believe that may be true, he also appeared in two episodes playing a character.
Tealc was also in macgyver
Also, with your intro to Cliff Simon, you showed Doug Arthurs who played Heru’ur.
Yes, I found that super jarring too.
How about rene auberjonois
I didn't know Clif Simon had passed. That saddens me.
The actor number 5 that played Martin he had an occurring rule on Hawaii Five-O this other TV series that was based in New York City I believe was called White Collar

Plus, the narrator mumbles and talks too fast. Typical of Brits.
@@jimdavis6833 no its not this guy is just weird nothing normal about him lol
@@jimdavis6833 dont stereotype only assholes do that :P
I had no idea any of these guys were dead.
some constructive criticism here. Please make sure the volume of the video is the same or similar to the volume of your commentary
All sorely missed

I like to think that if there is a heaven, they met up there and went "Hammond of Texas" and "Master Bra'tac"
Bra'tac is still alive. That was Jacob/Selmak (Carmen Argenziano) that died. (Look for a young Carmen in Once an Eagle with Sam Elliott)
Yes indeed.... ♥️😍❤️
R.I.P to everyone on this list 👍
The Ba'al character was WAY the Cleverest Goa'uld . Cloned his Symbiote AND Host without making the Asgard " Error " . Smart Worm/Snake .
I remember watching the episode on comet tv.
I've been fortunate to have met both Carmen and Don.
Don Davis was also Scully's father in the X-Files.
I had no idea Cliff Simon died
Only positive is that these people were spared the torture of Discovery, Picard, Dr Who, etc

I always wondered what Hammond was up to....I never knew this....R.I.P Don.....
If Ba'al had come to Earth, I'd have worshipped him even though I knew he was a bad guy.
These people deserve better than a cameo voice over in recognition to their ties and contribution to a remarkable sci-fi series. This could have been done much better.
He's also scully's dad on The X-Files
deceased, but not forgotten! and, fortunately, these are just a few of the stars of the show. the rest are fine.
Give'em a Double Jafa Jafa Kick!! I loved Dom...made me laugh for decades!!
Near the end of the video you show a glimpse of another well known actor who passed, Maury Chaykin.
"But I'm So Interesting!"
Dom DeLuise aka " Captain Chaos " .
" Cannonball Run " .

1:09 William was in Groundhog Day and Legend of Ron Burgandy....I always wondered what happened to him.....R.I.P William
Also played Mozzie on White Collar, one of my other all time favorite shows. He was a great character on that show.
I didn't know that Willie Garson and Cliff Simon passed away
only till yesterday i didnt know Cliff Simons died..
Keene curtis who played catherine’s fiancee
0:57 The question is did they die from Sg1, because of Stargate SG1 or did something else happen to them.
There is only one General Hammond.
What about those who have happily died ?
