@@AndrewWade1 I made this and filled it with frozen water bottles. No screen needed and no melting ice dripping everywhere. It also keeps frozen for hours!
If you get the grass wet with a sprinkler or hose the grass down beforehand it'll keep the fog low to the ground without that contraption. I tried it and it works good.
Ice cubes probably have more surface area and cool the fog better than large bottles or even bags of ice...just a thought. I'm building one with a 5 gallon bucket and I will test it out both ways.
Hi I'm making this for Halloween to be placed in my house very helpful and easy tutorial btw, what about when the ice starts to melt? Would you achieve the same result leaving it in the bags? Thanks!
i did something similar to this, expect i attached hoses that retract and i can control the fog in a better direction and it worked great, it really gave my graveyard a better spooky feel and look.
All these helpless people in the comments, lol. Use YOUR OWN brain people and be creative to find a solution for the melting ice etc. This is easily the cheapest and easiest options I've seen, thus far, and I can think of a few ways to fix the flaws. Also under 2 minute video so sthu. Good vid!
+Eliza Littleton I'd probably line the can with giant 30 gallon plastic trash bag dump in the ice and add a little water to start the melting process. It's like when you cook turkey you have to put a cup of water in the bottom of the tray so it is still moist by the time the bird is dripping its juices or priming a pump.
Thank you for the video! What brand of fog machine do you recommend? I have been researching them, and it seems that everyone has something bad to say about every model.
This looks like a great idea for a backyard party! If using it indoors I would recommend mounting the chiller on some milk crates set in a large storage box to create a catch pan, and adding some dryer vent hose to the chiller out-vents to bring the fog to the floor. Thanks for the excellent post!
Yes, but you can use hot water and dry ice and it will make the same effect. But be careful because when you do that because you can get carbon dioxide poisoning which is really deadly. Ok bye 👋 hope this helps!
My question is when making the machine and Using an actual fog machine, do you also need liquid ice To make the dog? And adding dry ice will make it last longer? What can I do to make it heavy fog for while!
Has anyone compared the 2 types of chillers? Passing through a tube entirly through with ice around the tube and out .. VS .. one that sends the smoke actually through the ice and back into an outlet. Efficiency output etc?
Fantastic simple design that makes tons of low-lying fog even with cheapo juice and machine. No b.s. and so easy! I elevated the tub and added a small hole in the corner and installed a tight fitting 1/2" vinyl tube as a drain line, ran it into the bathroom and no water on the floor.
+witchstoned Depends in how many bags you use any the ambient temperature of where this is occurring. In October when it's 40 degrees out pretty darn long but 90 degrees in August and you'll have water pretty soon.
So I tested this design and worked wonderful inside , but not do well outside , I covered up two of the holes and added a dryer duct .
Cheers
Can you elaborate more? I’m about to make this.. what was the problem with three holes. I have a dryer duct on hand, how did you attach it to the bin?
It's not just a fog chiller but also a great watering device for your floor :D
Uhh yeah. when the ice melts guess what else comes out of those holes???
Did you guys see the new design? It takes care of this problem. ruclips.net/video/MfGBbLusXQ0/видео.html
yeah - thats way better and easyer :D
@@AndrewWade1 I made this and filled it with frozen water bottles. No screen needed and no melting ice dripping everywhere. It also keeps frozen for hours!
Maybe just leave the Ice in the bags or those cooler blocks that you freeze maybe???
Good idea, I might try this for Halloween.
Cause Andrew Wade is fucking good at everything :)
What kind of surface area are you getting? And how long did all that ice last? Building one for front yard for Halloween
Great idea but I wouldn't recommend this for indoors...what are you gonna do once all that ice starts melting inside?
I just made a quicker, easier, cheaper, cleaner, and more efficient fog chiller. Check it out here How to Make the Easiest & Cheapest Fog Chiller Ever
holy shit this is one of the very few actual easy tutorials on youtube
my same reaction. haha
Just did this in less than 15 minutes lol
@@infinityb15 why did you reply to my 7 year old comment haha
@@kibbt idk
Why not

OMG this is an amazing tutorial. No nonsense and straight to the point. Thank you
Instead of using ice, use many large bottles with frozen water and put them in instead.
If you use normal ice it will melt very soon.
EmelaiiNilsson that will also stop the melted ice from going all over the floor! Nice ✌🏻
Great idea!
What about ice in plastic bags?
@@jaimejuarez2141 I think that will work too
Ice cubes probably have more surface area and cool the fog better than large bottles or even bags of ice...just a thought. I'm building one with a 5 gallon bucket and I will test it out both ways.
And when the ice melts? #WetFloorParty
hahahaha. this made me laugh me ass off
Use frozen water bottles
How do you deal with the ice melting??
Can someone plz answer the questions about what happens when the ice melts?? Doesn’t it completely leak out onto your floors??
Yes, water will definitely start to run out as the ice melts. Not recommended for indoor use
Hi I'm making this for Halloween to be placed in my house very helpful and easy tutorial btw, what about when the ice starts to melt? Would you achieve the same result leaving it in the bags? Thanks!
can you use frozen water jugs as well instead of ice
Good idea! That should also work.
i did something similar to this, expect i attached hoses that retract and i can control the fog in a better direction and it worked great, it really gave my graveyard a better spooky feel and look.
It worked! GENIUS! The most expensive thing was the hole-cutter drill bit, and it worked a TREAT! Thank you!
Does the ice melting cause any problems?
really good video! For a beginner like me its the perfect video, keep up the high quality videos!
Did u try this????
aryan verma yeah
So just found out today... If your fog machine doesn't set off the fire alarm before, this will set it off.

There will be a time when 60 liters ice are melting and set your living room under water....
this is a horrible idea for indoors the moment the ice melts. and the video is almost copying how kipkay makes his videos, music and all
Thanks for your input. Did you check out the new improved design? It's much simpler and doesn't leak at all. ruclips.net/video/MfGBbLusXQ0/видео.html
Definitely building this for halloween. Also you have the perfect narration voice for tutorials. You should do more.
Just found this video today. Got all the supplies and tested it out. It works pretty well, just like in the video
Great! Simple and way better than many of the other plans I’ve seen out there.
Keep the ice in the plastic bags maybe?

Surface area, you dumb B**ch!!
I tried this but It won’t work little fog actually comes out most of it gets trapped in the bag
What is the fog machine doing here? Could I use a fan or only fog machine?
How do you keep the ice from melting out onto the floor
Wow! Thanks so much! You saved me a ton of money 💰!
Thank you for the video! What brand of fog machine do you recommend? I have been researching them, and it seems that everyone has something bad to say about every model.
Chauvet is the best even though ADJ obviously spends more advertising.
Make sure to have a mop handy. I see a lot of people that do the DIY fog chiller don't touch on when the ice melts where does the water go.
I guess after few seconds your carpet got soaked from the melted ice
Lol this reminds me of How It's Made. Thanks for the tutorial!
Love that show
This is so simple and easy to make, I have a party tomorrow but my fog machine has broke😀
That's painter's tape not duct tape.
Definitely created low fog but it made the ground wet and not a good thing if slippery surface. Had to shut it down and went without the ice set up :(
Was the wetness limited to the area near the machine or did it spread throughout the room with the fog?
What about the water that will leak out
DIY fog machine…. Buy a fog machine :/
*DIY fog chiller. not fog machine
@@AndrewWade1 haha ok fair. i definitely misread.

Have fun… bring a mop.
Looks great , but what happens when the ice starts melting ??!
Do you need the fog machine in order for it to actually fog

how to turn your room into a gas chamber
The fog has no problem exiting even though all the ice is in the way ? No blockage?
This Will Scare The Kids Next Halloween When I Put In The Graveyard
Probably not a great idea to put a fog machine on top of "some old books". *cough fire-hazard cough*
How about to use a small refrigerator? It is essential that the ice will hold on during the stage exhibition too
It doesn't rise?
GREAT CHANNEL! what fog machine do you guys recommend at a good price?
If you could send me the link to the drill and circle drill attachment that would make my day thanks
Will 21 work
how much coverage of fog will this provide? Enough for about 1/8 to 1/4 of an acre yard?
How come this thing is not expensive.. everything is expensive here the ice the smoke machine and the bucket...
My question is when making the machine and Using an actual fog machine, do you also need liquid ice To make the dog? And adding dry ice will make it last longer? What can I do to make it heavy fog for while!

Juts finished coping this design ..worlds like a charm
Its safe?
Would leaving the ice in a zip lock bag work?
Can u use just dry ice instead so it doesn't run all over the place
Yes, great idea!
Andrew Wade Hi , you using special fluid for heavy fog ? or normal ?
just fill a bucket with dry ice and boiling water boom
That will last but so long before you are running to get more dry ice.
how long does the ice last?

i wish i could give you more than 1 like!
3/10 too spooky
Could u use dry ice around the reg ice to keep the melting time down?
Hello
Man love it yours is the simplest and cheapest way I have seen thanks
can we use regular fog juice!? for fog machine?
Lots of water out of the bottom? Yup!
Definitely easier than the last two I watched.
And all the water poures out on the floor
is it dry ice if it is not so that ice will melt and come all over the room
You produce engineer and stuff with records but also do fun and cool stuff like this? Dude you made my list of idols
What you gone do when the ice start to melt
Does that thing make floor wet?
How long will this last? And what about the leakage from the ice? How would you take care of that?
Do you need to put a fan to blow the fog? Or is it fine on its own?
Vai vazar água quando descongelar
Nice video. Short sweet and to the point. The effect that you demonstrated looks better than about 95% of the crap out there on RUclips.
How long does this last with 3 bags of ice?
Will this make fire alarm go off ?
Me encanto. La maquina. De. Humo
Anybody knows which fog machine did he use?
Chauvet hurricane 700
what kind of juice u used
wich fog machine did u use? ty

What size of hole did you cut out?
how long will this last. one hour or more?

JuJu Jynx Did you check out the improved design? It won't leak. ruclips.net/video/MfGBbLusXQ0/видео.html
Sounds Good I'll Check It Out . Thanks :D
its all fun and games until the ice melts
our fog maker overheats and shuts down after a minute or two. any idea why?
risa sharpe it’s probably due to heater getting to cool so it has to reheat to the temperature desired to create that smoke
how bad is it when all that ice melts?
Where can i buy a fog machine?
what song do you use on your video
Do you think a 400 watt machine will do the job?
I only have a 400 watt machine... Do you think it will be good enough??
