Zimbabwe's Road Infrastructure: Progress Update 2023

- Zimbabwe is making significant progress in upgrading its road infrastructure, with several major projects underway across the country. In this video, we take a look at the latest developments in Mashonaland East, Manicaland, Mashonaland Central, and Mashonaland West provinces.
Key milestones include:
The completion of the Rwenya Bridge in Mashonaland East
The dualization of the Harare-Marondera road
The construction of new roads and bridges in Manicaland, including those damaged by Cyclone Idai
The upgrading of the Ruya-Mukumbura and Mahuhwe-Kanyemba roads in Mashonaland Central
The dualization of the Norton-Munyati road in Mashonaland West

You know Matabeleland will be last, if any “development comes it’s way. Development in “Zimbabwe” is Harare, in the main. Won’t hold my breath. Cry beloved country, lafa elihle.
This is commendable considering that the country is under heavy sanctions. Even countries who are free from sanctions and gain access to IMF and Worldbank loans cannot match this development. Keep it up Zimbabwe we are slowly getting there with our on money CASH CASH ❤❤❤❤

Kwasara in towns, we need proper roads with proper markings. All suburbs need proper tars kusvika pa gate, then side walks to prevent pedestrian accidents. Look at roads in Rwanda.

Imagine if Vic Falls was in Mashonaland the amount of publicity and marketing that would go into it the quality of roads leading to it. Lets call a spade a spade maybe our beloved government will realise that we are watching. I have travelled almost all roads in Matebeleland all i can say is our leaders should be ashamed. I sincerely wish i was Shona in Mashonaland.
Zimbabwe is for shonas , so we service ours first before foreigners

Kwekwe-Nkayi road needs attention. I relocated to Silobela in 1997. The road was done 10km from Crossroads to just after Loreto turn off. Imagine 1997-2023?
It's good progress, but I hope havasi kutibata kumeso because of elections. Also Nyika yese please, kunyanya ku Matebeleland as well. There is a long way to go, asi mbichana mbichana, put our heads together as a country and promote our own, we will get there

True. I actually am a zimbo in Germany. The materials they use for their roads are advanced. I once saw them in a video. I guarantee Zim has got those material but require the know how and we will be good. Paint alone won't make the cut

And they are paraded in front of the cameras thanking the govt. It’s like making ur kids thank you for buying them school uniforms or paying their fees whilst it’s an expected responsibility. We have seen roads from other countries but u don’t see them parading citizens to thank them😌

WE need to be honest with our selves Chamisa is not the answer most african countries will go through what Zimbabwe has gone though to reclaim their dignity especially with land and ownership issues. Chamisa is puppet of the West who will reverse the gains little gains. I am not a beneficiary of the so called land redistribution but it's better in the hands of blacks than the white thieves

Please note that these are not new roads..These are repairs on Ian Smith's roads that were left to crumble by the ZANU PF government.. There's no 2nd republic because these same people were in government in 1980
