Sir earlier Daikin was undoubtedly superb While it’s the worst now. Our 11 year old Daikin is still working, even without service while last year we purchased another Daikin and shocked when we turned it on this year, No cooling there is gas leakage. And customer care is blaming us that we got it installed from 3rd party and asking for job card of installation. I think we simply need to keep the bill not the job card of installation. Unfortunately heard exactly the same issue of gas leakage from one of my close friend who also bought it last year. Daikin deteriorated the quality bcoz of which issue of gas leakage is cropping up
Made in India Daikin are junk compared to made in Thailand. I bought five units made in India in 2019 Jtkj inverter and all have full of issues like display issues , outdoor PCB problems , speaker issues and lower cooling . I also have one from 2014 ftkc inverter made in Thailand which is zero issues till date . I had a breakdown in one JTkJ on 10th May 2024 and Daikin took a month to rectify it . The problem was electronic expansion valve ( and this poor service is in Delhi ) . I will avoid Daikin after being Daikin customer since 2008.

Mandeep ji Sorry to say Daikin drop their Quality at present FTKM Model compare to FTKZ , new FTKM very less cooling but both specifications are same. FTKM Grill temp don't drop below 15c set temp 24c , room temp 29c, after 30 mins running. FTKZ grill drop 5c with in 10min with same condition of another room. FTKM just installed they visited 3 times, pl advise if possible,
Indore unit ka coming surface area kam he. Reason 1- Size and surface area of copper plates. 2- copper pipe diameter is less which carries less air. Thus CFM will be less comparatively. Thank you
Daikin split inverter AC 1.5 ton has an inherent problem in the 2024 model i face.even pressure washing does not clean the indoor unit air inlet fins on the top so the whole indoor unit has to be taken down and serviced and gas recharging cost is also needed thereafter.the technician said that since the fins have less gaps dirt clogging is a common problem with this model

@@ganeshdamai118 it's depends on your budget.and for brands go for (o general , Daikin or minimum (7000w cooling capacity) for example lg 2ton ac has only 6000w cooling capacity it like 1.8 ton or less

ATKL model indoor are little bit bigger in size. Rest outdoor size same as per tonnage. PM filter additional.

I bought ATKL35uv Vijay sales told me MTKL model is older one ATKL is newer one
Copper oxidizes quickly so shiny copper indicates a coating. Don't doubt company so much
Daikin’s non-inverter split ACs still come without temperature display. Same goes for other brands like OG and Mitsubishi.
Older Daikin models made in Thailand were way better than the current ones which are made in India.
