Exactly! 😃🙌🏾 I feel the same way. And I also feel that these 2 videos FuhNaff released, provided the *MUCH NEEDED* spark for both the community & Steel Wool! It's about to get even more interesting from here on out... 😎
I am super confused. Isn't Charlie in the birthday party a human and robot versions are Henry coping with it? Why would robo child charlie remember those details? I am so confused at this point. I know there's robo charlies but why is this robo charlie going to therapy sessions?
I still think that's the best way to understand it, especially since completing all 3 games leads to the peaceful Vanessa ending. It is worth noting that the developers did specifically go back and remove Cassidy's name from the Princess Quest files after it went public so the canonicity of Cassidy being associated with the Princess Quest games is iffy to say the least
This is genius. I love this theory, it feels very fresh and finally brings new ideas that don't feel like completely random facts made up to fill the gaps. You can tell the attention to details that went into creating this theory, and as others have already said, it really takes us back to the old days of over-searching for tiny clues, and it feels very good.
This was great. Usually with fnaf theories I'll find myself thinking so many things said are a stretch, yet with this one I found like maybe one??? And it was the green text at the end which was mentioned for like a second. Great job, loved watching these 2 theories they're really solid vids.

Forcing the spirit of the most benevolent character in the game to inhabit what is essentially an evil killer robot version of herself is hitting some wacky levels torment, even for this series
@@ivysaur2thefirst Basically, John's theory is that: 1: Henry built a robotic version of Charilie when she died, but ultimately decided to scrap it 2: William, (in the form of Glitchtrap,) commands Vanny to go and steal that scrapped Charlie robot and use it for their own evil purposes. 3: In order to escape his purgatory, William needs to stop the two spirits that are keeping him there: Charlie and Cassidy. He, (by commanding/possesing Vanny to do so,) traps Cassidy in the princess quest arcade machines, and traps Charlie inside of that evil robot version of her child self, where her soul is now doomed to witness the evil doings of the robot body she's trapped in, while being powerless to stop it. He explains 1 & 2 at 9:15 - 9:36, and he explains 3 at about 17:58 - 19:49

This basically tells us that souls of the children never left the animatronics, possibly due to a sense of Afton's soul still lingering in the mortal plane
as much as fnaf 6 was an epic ending. I love the idea that the children's souls (specifically cassidy and charlie) will not rest whilst Afton can still roam. I cannot wait to see how it goes, hopefully we get to actually speak to one of the child's spirits properly (personally I want to hug Susie because she sounds the nicest of all of them lol)

At first “no way AT ALL is this credible!” After awhile “… omg this is beautiful “ Even if it’s all wrong, it brings SO MANY layers of great depth to what was such a let down for fans. You deserve significant credit for this
Of course, it was only a letdown because people judged it by it's cover and didn't look into it properly, glad that fuhnaff was here to do that though, and matpat... kinda.... really kinda
I think the main thing this guy brought to the table was pointing out the puppet dolls. If MatPat noticed those, or at least as more than an Easter egg, he would have probably gotten here too. The problem is, as MatPat has said (somewhere), it’s harder to tell what is a lore clue and what's just an Easter egg than ever before with Security Breach, because it's such a massive game
@@aikesscs You're not giving MatPat enough credit. The biggest issue I see with what MatPat came up with is Patient 46. I will say that I think there are holes there just shown by the surface level plot of the game which he should have noticed, but the game is so crappy and those puppet dolls seem so hidden and like Easter eggs that I can't blame him for not considering them
If I was the creator and this wasn't my original plan, honestly I'd be nodding while writing it down and saying "Yes... yes... that's exactly what we were going for, you figured it out - could you repeat that last part please?"
this is an INSANELY good theory. i went from being skeptical to pretty convinced!! solid evidence, and this was put together so well. i can tell so much effort went into this

As someone whose usually against the idea of the "x person is a robot" theory for the games, this actually is a pretty decent way to make it work. The evil Charliebot idea seems like a slight stretch though given the amount of Nightmarionne references, I definitely could believe Charlie is present in some form. The idea of Gregory being a chosen target for Afton's rebuilt family is definitely interesting, and I could see it being possible.
@@kingauther7812 He's the same dude who managed to import himself into some fucking hard drives that was scanned in Help Wanted, I'm pretty sure he would be able to use the same scanning tech to take Cassidy and Charlie's souls out of the blob and import them elsewhere

It makes for a super interesting watch because you can directly reference and compare theories knowing that y’all watch each other’s content and know what each other is theorizing about
OH MY GOD im in the FNAF community since the first game and THIS video made me jump on my seat and sweat with exitement like decade ago. This is incredible thanks for bringing this feeling back.
This is the most convincing theory I’ve heard come out of any FNAF in years. Extremely thorough and an insane amount of evidence. It’s hard not to see this as confirmed!
love how you’re looking more at the game details and just using the books as little explanations. i like this theory! would love to see how you think about this with the dlc going over everything one to one
This even ties in with the line of "And if you fail me, you will, both of you, burn". Its William talking to Charlie and Vanessa!! This theory is amazing, it ties everything together!!
The part where you explained what year the game takes place I can actually confirm that. On the level for Monty Golf that showcases Security Breach with the Glamrock band there is a hidden 55th anniversary balloon showing that Security Breach takes place 55 years after the opening of Fredbear's Family Dinner. If you add 55 years to the year 1983 you get 2038 so if you shift the year 3 years back you'll get both the year Fredbear's Family Diner opened (1980) and the year Security Breach takes place (2035).
John this whole video theory IS INSANELY GOOD. I was so excited that I had to tap the screen to see if I was near the end because I was running out of breath every time you say NEED MORE PROOF? SO GOOD. you convinced me!!!
God man, this stuff like brain candy to me. A real breath of fresh air for the game in general. Amazingly done! Looks like Matpats got some new material to go off of 👀👀👀
I mean come on. You just laid out everything clear and concise. Hard not to consider this the answer we’ve all been waiting for. Incredible video dude!!!
My mind is absolutely blown even though this is obviously a theory. This is really fascinating and gives a potentially new perspective to the lore of Security Breach.
I've never agreed with the whole Afton side of this game, but this theory gives new light to that. Actually, giving us how this is the Afton family. This is an amazing theory and (IN MY OPINION) is probably the most plausible theory I have seen about these games. I'm excited to see what else you have great work.
Cassidy being trapped in princess quest makes sense, as when she's freed she could have recaptured William/Elizabeth bringing Vanessa back to her normal self, Elizabeth possessing/influencing Vanessa also works as she says at the end of FNAF 6 she wants to make her daddy proud.
I love the connection of the Nightmare Puppet. I always thought they werent cannon tot he story since the Halloween DLC wasnt cannon either. However, looking at it from your POV, it does make sense that Nightmare Puppet is just the embodiment of the pain that Charlie went through. Never noticed the one hanging from freddy either lol Solid theory dude. Definitely got my brain running LOL
Incredible work man, I really think this is the closest and most accurate theory so far from anyone, major props to you for all the hard work that must have gone into this 💜
I have watched both of your theory videos and they have left my mind blown. It all seems so obvious now looking back on it. This was such a great theory and it is a really believable one!
Oh man, it keeps getting better. While I'm not too sure on the theory, meaning I'll need to watch it a couple of time to understand it, I'm really loving that you are look at the games starting from the smallest details, like in the last video with glass making a sound, and the nightmare plush found in several places. This is what makes these lore hunts so interesting for me, how the smallest details can change so much. Keep up that great work man. Can't wait for what is in the DLC or maybe more parts to come.
Fore some reason I've felt like I've out grown fnaf but this game is so fun but mostly the theories and the theory community. it keeps on making me come back especially you john so thanks for making me stay with this franchise
This is ungodly incredible, you did an absolutely amazing job and I loved watching every second. I’d be very surprised if you’re theories about Luis and the crying child are not almost exactly what the story was. Edit: clarification just in case, I ment the whole theories not just those two main subjects
You are an absolute bloodhound. This was very good and incredibly thorough. I just knew there was so much we were missing. The questions were too big and obvious to be oopses.
Putting the theory aside, this is the one of the reasons why I love FnaF. It's about to be a year since this game came out in a couple of weeks, and there's always a new discovery to be had. I didn't know about the hidden Nightmarionne plush or the cut dialogue from the game 'til now.
Maybe one need’s for Charlie to be around and continued to be used by them is because her signature ability to “give gifts. give life.” is exactly what Afton and Vanessa are trying to accomplish, rebuilding and giving new life to the Afton legacy. No doubt it’s obviously more than possibly to do this without the entity of the puppet, but again, speaking in the perspective of where we come from, the puppet is one of the strongest entities in the franchise, along with one of the children was about to sustain life in, Cassidy.
john, my jaw was dropped for the full 30 minutes of this video. well fucking done, dude. this is seriously canon in my head now lol it's crazy how ALL of this shit was in the game, we just needed someone to piece it together. u took one for the mf team
I honestly think you have knocked it out of the park with this one. It all fits well. But the connections between the books and games is something that even scott has trouble confirming fully and now that there is more creative control involvement every theory needs to be assessed with a grain of salt. That being said this was total worth the wait. ✨✨
The attention to detail in these videos is crazy, man. There's no way in he|| I would've been able to figure any of this out. You're doing God's work with the lore & theories in this series because it's soooo hard to understand & put everything together at this point (as a fan of the series that has _never_ played any of the games lmao), but from these theories you've come up with everything is (slowly) starting to make some sense, if this theory is ever confirmed of course.
FNAF is so darn confusing to figure out, your doing such an amazing job researching and diving into all the pieces that are set out form the games and books to fit together the puzzle of FNAF. Amazing work!!
This all makes a lot of sense! I never wanted to believe that Gregory was the crying child literally, but the evidence that was present didn’t seem to point to any other answer, until this video! The idea of Charlie being behind it all makes a lot of sense when you consider all the evidence and stuff from the books. Great video!
So much amazing work here. Just about all the stuff with Nightmarionne and the shipped animatronics, guessing the year the game takes place in, deciphering the stuff on the walls, reading the porting of Princess Quest to arcade cabinets as a way to trap a spirit -- it's completely brilliant and I don't think anyone else could've put it together. So many have just given up looking for clues. But the stuff about Gregory just being a normal kid kinda falls apart when you remember all the clues suggesting he's really not normal, and I don't think the cipher on the wall is from the perspective of Team Afton. I was keeping it to myself, but I'm just gonna say it: I don't think Afton's the only one with a "team" in play here.
yeah, I honestly think that gregory is not 100% normal, and not 100% crying child. I think he may be in the transition towards the crying child considering he has no memory of his past and does not fit the ideal description of the crying child as yet.
@@kaden587 I feel like whether or not Gregory's a robot is important, but only to his motives and place in the grander narrative, not to the "who's possessing what robot" questions. If Gregory really is a homeless nobody, then he just picked the wrong mousehole and holds no significance to the grander narrative. End of theory, thanks for playing. But if he's a robot -- sure, he *might've* decided to come to the Pizzaplex of his own volition. But he also could've been sent by someone or lured by something. He *might've* just been built by Willaim Afton, but he might've been someone else's creation. He *might've* been a sentimental madman's replacement for a dead child, or he might be a sentient weapon -- a thing that looks and sounds like a child because that's what Afton's creations are programmed to hunt. He might've fought his way into the Pizzaplex, but he might've been there all along. Regardless of the answer, it has narrative signifigance. Goofy as it sounds, it's not too Faz Gooey to think that the cipher on the wall might be a message for Gregory, "the breath they hunt now," from the person who built him and sent him to "crush the vile band". And that would change everything. But Team Afton getting stopped by "some random kid in the wrong place at the wrong time" means he has no greater significance. And he doesn't need there to be, but there's no point in theorizing about the meaning of insignificant events.
This is insane!! You literally followed the breadcrumbs, looked in every nook and cranny and put the pieces together. I'm convinced that Steel Wool has kept silent because they knew someone would figure it out eventually, even if it took a year 🤔
You’ve convinced me of those possibilities! And the theory’s are looking sharp, but there’s a couple of problems that I have. (I’m so sorry for the long reply) Vanessa being Elizabeth, paying attention to detail throughout the FNAF games there’s something that all the souls have in common. That’s physical contact. The souls have made contact with the vessels they possess and are easily connected with some form of memory. Here’s the examples. Evan (yes I’m calling him that, sue me) made contact with Fredbear before he died. While he died on a hospital bed, that’s the last thing he’s made physical contact with in terms of a vessel. The missing children, stuffed in the suits they possess. Charlie, her body laid beside puppet. William, spring locked in the Springbonnie suit. Michael is an interesting case tho, while Michael’s soul did in fact come back to his body he still didn’t make any kind of contact in terms of a vessel besides Ennard who left his body entirely. With nothing inside, it’s possible his soul still lingered around. If Michael was in fact Glamrock Freddy, then how. He literally has no connection what’s so ever with a Freddy or any memories besides working at the locations, also it’s not like he only remembers Freddy, Chica was around too, but not to mention the fact that if his goal was to keep his father from coming back. Why would he stay in the fire, and more so why go along with Henry’s plan if he had any suspicious it wasn’t going to kill his father. There would be no need for him to stay around since there was no way for William to get a body again since his Scraptrap suit was destroyed in the fire. Alongside with Glamrock Freddy who did in fact clear the path but his memory was erased cause he didn’t remember it cause of Vanny. Michael’s body was destroyed entirely given the condition of the others, there’s nothing at all, so Freddy couldn’t have made any kind of contact with Michael’s body. Vanessa only went along with what William said in those tapes, because it’s what he wants her to do and that was to lie, but something about Vanessa that Elizabeth has no absolutely interest in is cupcakes and beauty products like you explained in your least theory. Also looking at Vanessa’s game model you can see her fingernails are painted. We freed Vanessa by unlocking that door and freeing her from Williams control. Now the second thing, I don’t think Charlie’s soul is lingering around, cause if it was, why work with her killer. Besides, she has no need to linger around as does Elizabeth, and the other missing children, this robotic version of Charlie seems to be entirely programmed by William, and William was also an engineer too. He also spent some time in the system, so it would make sense for him to pick up a thing or two. Sorry for the long response but that’s what I got
Wow! Again FuhNaff with the most accurate theories ever. Nobody has patience to know the story except for you. Well done. Love to see more theories from you in the future.
Ngl my interest in fnaf lore had been on an all time low, but this video was a perfect reminder on why I enjoyed and probably will keep enjoying these theory’s.
Great video! One detail I noticed in the sticky note room that I haven't seen people talk about is that one of the notes reads "grown ups only". The person in that room is clearly a child, so why would they put that note all over their home? Well, if they are the rebuilt Charlie bot, maybe it's actually the older Charlie, not the child version. This would make them a "grown up", but could still have a young, child-like mind inside it. This doesn't really line up with 46's chair not fitting them in the tapes, but that note feels important given that everything else in the room indicates them being a child.
Grown ups only might be a reference to the fourth closest in the novel trilogy. Robo-Charlie calls the fourth closest (Where the adult version was supposed to be) her big girl closet as she is only supposed to open it when she is grown. So the sticky note could be refering to the fourth closest.

Game designers typically go to school for specifically for game design/creation, art, or computer science majors, not as English, Literature, or Communication majors. So much like a doctor with a literal PhD under their belt but who write like trash, I expect game designers to also write like trash, as much like doctors, they didn't go to school to become expert writers.
@@imronnyy7700 Sorry, I talk about naval artillery a lot, used the wrong 'breech/breach" and the reason I say we're supposed to find it is that almost every lore clue we have in the game so far is observable without being chased by any enemies. From the broken glass, to the tape room, to the interior of the pizza place, to Vanny's room, to kid's cove, the stickynote room, even the destroyed employee's cafeteria only has an enemy if you get seen by a staff-bot. The only strong exception to this rule is the endo area, which you can return to in freddy.
never knew a 27 min video would bring back my passion for this game........ a whole HECK of a lot is reveled and said those past months that i couldn't keep up with
And here I was thinking the Princess Quest arcade games were about freeing Vanny from Glitchtrap
@@survivordave true, however they could have just removed Cassidy’s name to make it less obvious
@@TheRealYezBox I guess, but then how does saving Cassidy make Vanessa free from Glitchtrap?
@@survivordave It's a stretch but I believe that it could just free Cassidy, who then proceeds to free vanny (vanessa)
She could be able to do this based on evidence from what she's done to afton in the past
Just noticed the wristbands in Charlies death mini-game match the colors of the lights perfectly in Baby's room in Sister Location

I think we really needed this kind of groundbreaking new perspective. A fresh face in the fnaf theorist community. Keep up the fantastic work, you're probably the only one who could have put this all together.
Everybody always asks "Who is patient 46?", but no-one ever asks "How is patient 46?"
John, you should seriously consider making more theory videos. You’re takes are brilliant and this felt like watching a MatPat video.
Literally tho the next generation is nigh
honestly? it feels BETTER than watching a matpat video.
Its less clickbaity and cringy too.
i cant tell if were discrediting matpat here or respecting fuhnaff or both

I'm amazed that everyone, even MatPat, overlooked the amount of evidence that the Puppet was indeed in this game.
I'm amazed fuhnaff hinted at explaining why it couldn't have been charlie (the lone window being shut in her death cutscene sealed her fate, so why on earth would she prefer keeping windows shut?) but never actually did it :(
@@JoeWithTheHoesBiden Well I assume, she just doesn't like the outside in general, so she doesn't like open windows. She died on the outside, she doesn't want anything to do with it.
@@Smiuley that's not a very good explanation

HOLY CRAP MY THEORY HAS BEEN BACKED UP. Everyone I've talked to about this theory thought I was crazy and grasping at straws. Thank you for finding evidence!
The amount of work you’ve put into this one is staggering.
Forcing the spirit of the most benevolent character in the game to inhabit what is essentially an evil killer robot version of herself is hitting some wacky levels torment, even for this series
I still don't get that. Where did he say she was?
While I agree it is wacky and feels bad, it is a new & fresh horror element to the story.
@@ivysaur2thefirst Basically, John's theory is that:
1: Henry built a robotic version of Charilie when she died, but ultimately decided to scrap it
2: William, (in the form of Glitchtrap,) commands Vanny to go and steal that scrapped Charlie robot and use it for their own evil purposes.

"I am still here"
I can't even imagine the amount of research you put into this, I wouldn't have even thought of the kid's bracelet colors as matching the colors from the post-it room, I'm definitely subscribing!
The fact you made all of these connections and that this theory is literally rock solid is insane, I really hope more people find this. It's incredible
At first “no way AT ALL is this credible!”
After awhile “… omg this is beautiful “
Even if it’s all wrong, it brings SO MANY layers of great depth to what was such a let down for fans.
@@aikesscs
You're not giving MatPat enough credit. The biggest issue I see with what MatPat came up with is Patient 46. I will say that I think there are holes there just shown by the surface level plot of the game which he should have noticed, but the game is so crappy and those puppet dolls seem so hidden and like Easter eggs that I can't blame him for not considering them
If I was the creator and this wasn't my original plan, honestly I'd be nodding while writing it down and saying "Yes... yes... that's exactly what we were going for, you figured it out - could you repeat that last part please?"
this is an INSANELY good theory. i went from being skeptical to pretty convinced!! solid evidence, and this was put together so well. i can tell so much effort went into this
This is one of the best theories ive heard in a while regarding the tapes, bringing the sister location cartoons in the loop!! It pulled from everywhere and I love it

This is so amazing? Actually made me change a lot of what I thought. Matpat gotta react to this asap, and honestly more people should see it. It's an amazing theory

You put 1938 instead of 2038

This is probably one of the best theories I’ve ever seen. Great work as always, FuhNaff!
I love the connection of the Nightmare Puppet. I always thought they werent cannon tot he story since the Halloween DLC wasnt cannon either. However, looking at it from your POV, it does make sense that Nightmare Puppet is just the embodiment of the pain that Charlie went through. Never noticed the one hanging from freddy either lol

You’re actually insane John. Props to you for figuring all this out. Great job.
I can’t believe this was all missed until now. Can’t wait to see more theory content hopefully in the future!

Putting the theory aside, this is the one of the reasons why I love FnaF. It's about to be a year since this game came out in a couple of weeks, and there's always a new discovery to be had. I didn't know about the hidden Nightmarionne plush or the cut dialogue from the game 'til now.
1:03 "don't believe me?" i do not research these games i'm taking your word for it bro

Maybe one need’s for Charlie to be around and continued to be used by them is because her signature ability to “give gifts. give life.” is exactly what Afton and Vanessa are trying to accomplish, rebuilding and giving new life to the Afton legacy. No doubt it’s obviously more than possibly to do this without the entity of the puppet, but again, speaking in the perspective of where we come from, the puppet is one of the strongest entities in the franchise, along with one of the children was about to sustain life in, Cassidy.
john, my jaw was dropped for the full 30 minutes of this video. well fucking done, dude. this is seriously canon in my head now lol
it's crazy how ALL of this shit was in the game, we just needed someone to piece it together. u took one for the mf team
I'm convinced that Steel Wool has kept silent because they knew someone would figure it out eventually, even if it took a year 🤔
When he cut to the The Immortal and the Restless my jaw actually dropped.
Once again my mind has been spectacularly blown! You're a genius dude, props to you ♡
You’ve convinced me of those possibilities! And the theory’s are looking sharp, but there’s a couple of problems that I have.
(I’m so sorry for the long reply)
Vanessa being Elizabeth, paying attention to detail throughout the FNAF games there’s something that all the souls have in common.

Bro you are a genius! The charlie theory makes so much sense, and you even make these video so frequently. Keep it up man!
You need more recognition. This theory makes too much sense.
I love how you get straight to the point, the visuals are immaculate and all your theories are open minded and new💕 fav theorist
