R.E.M. - Perfect Circle - dual piano and acoutic instrumental guitar cover

Yes I know: with a piano slightly out of tune and with a guitar slightly out of tune (especially on the D's) then what could the outcome possible be you may ask?
Well, pretty messy I'll agree on that but lacking the time and with a belief that not everything needs to be covered in a studio with mics and so on, I still feel that I got where I wanted to end up with this soulwise - probably maybe even one of the hardest to make sound just right.
The version from their MTV Unplugged session in 91' still stands out to me as one of their finest moments ever.

Yeah, I started out with Cocteau Twins after dealing with Sonic Youth but then I got reslly critically ill and then I just felt like a change in direction. Probably gonna dig into some Thurston and Lee solo records also but one thing at a time :)

Ah yes, a beautiful record from 86’ I think it was. So many different renditions of the ‘main theme’. Really a pearl that album.
