Looks beautiful, due too land in Montreal from the UK on Jan 3rd,are you allowed too just get a drink in some restaurants or do you have too order food as well?? As all the bars are shut I was wondering if drinks are still readily available. Thanks Mick
How long does it take to get to the observatory and is it a difficult walk? Also, you mentioned that the botanical garden needed to have tickets bought in advance. Does anything else need advance tickets? Thanks so much for a great video!
Looks great my wife and I are visiting Montreal in February 23 . The prices you quote are they taxes included or plus tax please ? It's a great video too 👍
Hi Steve, Thank you for your comment. The prices are excluding the tax. We forgot to mention in the video that we bought the MTL City pass and all these attractions were included in that one pass. It is $95 + taxes per person.
@@BrownStruggleinCanada Thank you so much for getting back to me I have family in Ontario and I have visited Canada twice , I still can't get used to the tax on top of the advertised price lol 😱😱.
@@stevedeakin1883 I can totally relate. I moved here from Scotland and it took me a while to get used to it 😅 I hope you get some nice weather to enjoy your visit 😊
@@BrownStruggleinCanada . Looking forward to visiting Canada again , the last time I was there was in 2008 , like I said my family live in Dundas Ontario .😊😊.
I live just outside of Montreal. Tax is about 15% on everything. Taxes are never included in advertised or tagged prices. Tips are expected to be about 15% to 20% of your total bill. If the service is crappy, don’t be shy to leave 10%-or less if egregious.
$14 to go into a church? Churches should never charge anyone to go in. what if the person just wants to pray? I guess churches are more and more becoming just museums.
Wow the botanical gardens look beautiful!
This has been super helpful and different from all the other Montréal videos out there. Thank you!!
Thank you 😊
So smart to visit these sites early in the day. It made the footage that much better. Nice video.👍

The pubs and bars are open as of now. Although proof of vaccination is required to sit and drink.

The church was free. Tickets were needed to visit the rest of the building like the tower, crypt and the museum.
