Sounds like he's the perfect stooge to maintain their current trajectory. The quality of the product itself will likely see no improvement. He's not that guy. He also incites some red flags to me as it pertains to his philosophy on acquiring talent. There's not a single thing wrong with pursuing talent outside of wrestling and then building them into WWE superstars. Some of the biggest stars have come from precisely that. They do, however, seem almost entirely dismissive now of Independent wrestling. They were for a while, then sort of opened the door quite a bit to it but still never invested in anyone who came from that system the way they should have, and now they're back to shutting that door again. WWE is just going to do what WWE does and maybe it works for some. Hasn't worked for me in a long time. I guess I'm just grateful now to have passionate pro wrestling back in my life on Wednesdays at 8. Good, succinct interview. But I'll stick with the other Khan.

But he works for WWE so I suppose a lie or two is to be expected.
A year later, he's CEO. Goshhh..
Plot Twist: Nick Khan is actually Tony Khan's secret uncle and he is infiltrating WWE to make them go out of business.
This guy is a bussinesman, he has no love for professional wrestling.
He’s got that perfect Persian diplomacy
I never want anyone to lose their job but man I hope Tony khan gets at least this guy out of WWE
This guy is killing the business single handedly
Amazing interview. Maybe the most important one this year.
yes
He's an MMA interviewer.
WWE has always had blinkers on to any competition? The truth is WWE has always been hyper-focused on stomping out their competition at the root.
We need Tony khan next then shao khan 😂
Raiden vs Shang Tsung in a Three Stages of Hell match for the Earthrealm Championship
@@ermonski 😂book it
First time I see him being interviewed! So this is the right-hand man of Vince McMahon.
His answers to these questions sound a lot like how hunter would answer them lol
I’m here to watch the most triggering interview for WWE fans😂
4 hour RAW? 8 hour Smackdown? This man is a literal disease to the product. No wonder no likes WWE anymore.
Good interview 👍
Man this interview was much needed
i bet a thousand the crew and host was patted down beforehand
This man is secretly saving WWE
I want to see Nick Khan in WWE 2K22 so I can beat this guy in the video game with multiple different characters
Jeez, imagine working for WWE, such a toxic unhealthy business philosophy this man has brought to the WWE
WWE won't be around in 5 years.
@@PopeTheRevXXVIII suuuure
@@Vlaadek73 I guarantee it WWE will be done in 5 years once the big money deals dry up and WWE has nothing to sell they're done
Budget cuts is what led to the demise of wcw too lol
Brock moves the needle, edge moves the needle, Cena moves the needle, y’all keep bringing up this “we don’t live in the past” quote but he said “we want people who move the needle now” Goldberg moves the needle
Brock never moved the needle
They move the needle which is why the only appear about twice a year. EDIT: To add to this, they want the older stars for ratings but quickly forget to make new ones when those older ones aren’t going to be there anymore.
Someone truly living in the present would probably know as such
I don't like saying this but this comment section is like a bunch of wrestling nerds with no acumen for business or professionalism whatsoever. This is a fascinating interview for people who want to understand the business of not just wrestling but current media and sports in general and who want to look at the bigger picture. Yet people are salty because tHeY bUrIeD BiAnCa bElAiR.
They don't live in the past yet they feature people 20 years after their prime at the expense of their current talent
And now mr. Levesque is rehiring all those jobbers and they’re proving to be inadequate for the company
From a Lawyer to an Agent to the President and CEO of WWE, interesting.
Khan saying WWE has always focused on themselves and not the competition. Billionaire Ted and The Huckster say otherwise
Exactly, what a bunch of BS.
He's clearly speaking from an executive's POV
@@eltoro_ttv no, he said the company has never engaged with it's competition. It did for years during the 90's, even when Impact was at it's peak and getting more viewers than AEW are right now, they acknowledged Orlando, primarily in the aftermath of MITB 11 when Vince threatened to fire Cena
Remember the WCW vs WWF days lmao???
What I got from this is basically
(screw fans and what anyone wants, I'm here to get make the company and my bosses money, thus solidifying my relationship and getting richer.)
And when that's the main focus in the building well it's like he said we the fans are seen as the "life blood" as he said so I guess that makes him the blood sucker.
Nick Khan seems like a decent guy. His job is to make sure the books are better under WWE. He's not to blame. His boss is to blame. He's just doing what he's told to do.
Hats off to another First Generation American doing big things!
So he's the new yes man for vince, messing up the only good thing they had which was NXT.
Nxt was indie... They are tryingto fix hhh mess....
